X100P Manually Answer
...but let the analog phones
continue to work in the rest of the house (until I can afford FXS cards
anyway..)
I can force it straight to the POTS line with something like: exten =>
44,1,Dial(Zap/1/,10,t) but it won't attempt the dial / pick up the phone if
it's ringing.
Thanks,

DeSolve Package and Moving Average
Dear all,
I am using the DeSolve Package to simulate a system dynamics model. At the problematic point in the model, I basically want to decide how many products shall be produced to be sold. In order to determine the amount a basic forecasting model of using the average of the last 12 time periods shall be used. My code looks like the following.

problem with dtrace toolkit
I tried some of the scripts in the toolkit (opensnoop, execsnoop, dtruss), and I keep seeing errors like this:
dtrace: error on enabled probe ID 3 (ID 113: syscall::exece:return): invalid kernel access in action #5 at DIF offset 0
Anyone know what could be the problem?
TIA

Sprint PCS -> Asterisk through Digium TDM400P
Does anyone have trouble with dialing in to an Asterisk Server and
having the DTMF digits recognized? We have some clients who are calling
in with cell phones, notably those with SprintPCS service, who's DTMF is
just never recognized.
I have tried relax_dtmf on and off, with no improvement. My rxgain is
currently set to 3.
Can anyone suggest possible solutions?

W2K -Printing again
...ting under Samba 2.2.1a works fine (with 25 x Win9X).
But under W2K are many effects like this:
Cannot change the Printer-Name .
After second booting, I have no access to the printer .
File access to the PDC from W2K is O.K.
Is there any additional setup for W2K required ????
Thanks

Source for 50-pin amphenol cables?
I'm looking for a source for 50-pin amphenol
cables, the ones used to connect Adtran's to
punch down blocks. Preferably, one that's
mail order and takes orders over the internet.
Thanks.

call waiting, * and FXO
I have been told that the combination of call waiting, * and FXO does and
will not work because "Asterisk is a PBX". I guess I'd like to hear if this
is a hard and fast "no this will not work and here's why", or that this
currently doesn't work but with some coding might work.
I'd like to have the option to be able to continue using call waiting with

Our first deadline came and went and it became more obvious that

to take money, thinking it would make them more committed to my

HELP - My Programmers are AWOL !!
I hired a friend of a friend to build my company a fairly substantial
application. He quoted it, committed to it, and now says he has run out
of money.
I''ve offered him additional money/incentives ...twice. He continues to
commit, and then, ultimately not make his commitment.
I''m not sure what my options are.
Ideally, I would like to simply fire him and hire someone to

Follow Me
Ernest,
I hadn't thought of doing that, though having that added protection would
be nice. However, what I'm trying to do it have an incoming call at my home
number follow me to my cell phone for selected numbers -- Since I already
have three way calling, I'd like get Asterisk to essentially three way my
cell phone into the call (or my office number, etc.) I understand the
