QEMU IMG vs Libvirt block commit
Hi folks, I'm having a issue in the standard NFS driver on OpenStack, that uses qemu-img and libvirt to create snapshots of volumes. I have compiled Samba 3.0.25a from source on a Solaris 10 machine. I had previously been testing Samba 3.0.24 (from packages on www.sunfreeware.com) and have reused the smb.conf file. Manually installing syslinux?
I am wondering if it is possible to install syslinux manually, without the actual syslinux utility. Basically I have a little linux distro that uses syslinux. I have an automated upgrade system that also updates the bootloader before rebooting. I currently compile syslinux (and mtools) statically, so that the new syslinux will not depend on any libraries on the old software version (since they

I have tried this code in order to extract columns, but R console gives me the "+" sign at the end of the code, pointing out incomplete command, so it is not working:

samba development
i started on the nt domains for unix project on the basis of paul ashton's enthusiastic and "this can't be too hard" attitude, back in august 97. since then, with the encouragement of a number of people over the last three years, and with the discouragement of others, the nt domains protocols are now pretty well understood. due to that constant discouragement, i no longer find

Optimisations
Looking through the archives I have seen talk of making CPU specific optimisations for Vorbis, a la MMX/3DNow!/SSE. The feeling I gather is to wait until something is working well in C before committing to any kind of specific optimisation. What if oft used and needed DSP functions were identified and standardised DSP functionality be written for Vorbis? This would seperate the basically

TEST 3 If you get a "connection refused" response then the smbd server may not be running. If you installed it in inetd.conf then you probably edited that file incorrectly. If you installed it as a daemon then check that it is running, and check that the netbios-ssn port is in a LISTEN state using "netstat -a". Note: You have xinetd not inetd on the redhat box.
