How does this work... http://www.walledcity.ca:8000/admin returns:
The source you requested could not be found.
and admin/ returns:
Unrecognised command
and admin/mars.ogg returns:

Also, is there a way to pull down the track's total length, and the time
remaining/elapsed on the current track? Is this information even available

Directory Listings
That's a little odd, there are streams listed at yp.icecast.org...
What's up with that?
And of course my question on other directory servers still stands.

iTunes 4
Last I checked, iTunes was unable to play my static playlist ogg vorbis
stream. Assuming this is expected behaviour and not an anomaly; Does iTunes 4
resolve this issue?

Directory Listings
The default configuration file for icecast comes with a directory listing for
oddsock, but not icecast.org or any others. How do I set up the xml file to
list me on icecast.org.
And on a related note, what other directorys can I list the server on?

At this point, after much thought, it might be the system I'm running it on.
Is there a minimum system req to run icecast and shout?
What about updating, is there a debian package that ISN'T 1.3? Is my crappy
version the issue?

According to the oddcast website ices by default sends ice-public: 0 when

exitting properly, or ices is not letting it know that it can close the

sure that this is the likely cause of ices eventually Segment Faulting

So I really got nothing, I would prefer to somehow force icecast to output
this info into a physical XML file on the drive so that I don't have to make
nasty regex's that have to use libraries that the CGI mod for apache won't let
me use.
