Icecast - Aug 2004 - Source XML for status.xsl

Alright, first off:
Where is the password for admin specificied? In the <admin></admin>
section of
the XML config?

Shouldn't there be a directory admin/ in my webroot for icecast? Currently
the
only files in my webroot are status*.xsl and some experimental xsl files.

Yep.  From the example conf:

        <!-- Admin logs in with the username given below -->
        <admin-user>admin</admin-user>
        <admin-password>hackme</admin-password>
    </authentication>

Currently the

Nope.  This is one of them vertual things.  I know you can do other neat
stuff through /admin like kick clients and sources, and move people from
one mount to another, but I don't think there's any documentation for
that
other than CVS commit logs as yet.
