UDP de-fragmentation problem
Hi all. I have a strange problem at hand regarding UDP fragmentation on Centos7: Applications are unable to receive UDP packets which have undergone fragmentation UNLESS the netfilter modules are loaded. The problem arose on a application which would run fine on OpenSuse but does not work on Centos7. The application processes UDP data and on Centos only small packets are received and processed, packets below the fragmentation size limit of ab...

Does SQL group by have a heavy duty equivalent in R
I have hundreds of humans who have undergone SNP genotyping at hundreds of loci. Some have even undergone the procedure twice or thrice (kind of an internal control). So obviously I need to find those replications, and confirm that the results are the same. If there is discordance then I need to address it. I tried to use the aggregate fun...

SIP channel improvements
I just discovered that the SIP channel has undergone some major improvements. I'm now able to dial any SIP URL with dial, couldn't get it to work earlier, all domains had to be defined in SIP.conf. This, in addition to the SIPDOMAIN variable, makes the SIP channel even more useful. Thank you, Mark, for your additions! Now, ENUM/E.164 will...

Logging to MySQL
...ad of parsing actual log files, but allows to create sparse files too. Log lines are then parsed by matching to a regexp to extract desired values then inserting the record on mysql. It should be pretty configurable, it can work as a daemon and is compatible with start-stop-daemon, but has not yet undergone much testing. You can get it at http://www.rovira.cat/gpl/samba-logger.pl Read the source code for docs. Any feedback is welcome. Quim Rovira

new flags in Maildir files
Sorry if this is a dumb question: I migrated my third system from courier to dovecot. My previous two were MacOSX the third is FreeBSD 6. I noticed (because of an rsync process taking longer than usual...) that on FreeBSD the message files have, most of them at least, gained extra suffix letters (in the range a-h I'd say) that I do not see (mostly if not at all) on my MacOS systems. I

I came across this which kind of brings out issues between the implementer and the PCI/DSS auditor. <http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/15098/pci-dss-compliance-for-a...

"upstream testing"??

Warning: Intel CPU model -- this hardware has not undergone upstream testing. Please see http://wiki.centos.org/FAQ for more information. tsc: Fast TSC calibration failed. I have consulted that FAQ and more, and also System76's. I've consulted and tried more other things than most of you likel...

[LLVMdev] Loads/Stores and MachineMemOperand
...d in late optimization passes? Is there a use-case where they should be stripped? That's not really the issue, though. As an intermediate representation, MI should be reasonably self-contained. The MMOs are pointers into an old version of the program being compiled - The MI representation has undergone many transformations, including CFG changes and code motion. The links provided by the MMOs get more and more sketchy as the program is optimized. Currently, we only use the MMOs for alias analysis during scheduling, but even that can cause problems as you've seen with the stack coloring pass...

(But > perhaps that's the nature of some of these bugs.) I have a very similar second server which has undergone a similar chain of events, an initial ~2.5tb fs followed by a resize later. I believe that it has been fsck'd since the resize (but don't quote me on that). Am I likely to run into this issue with this fs? And if I do, what steps should I do differently (e.g., use the latest e2fsck right...

Dovecot dsync tcps sends incomplete certificate chain

I am on 2.2.26, where I don't have the problem you see and both services send the server and intermediate certificate. I was unable to see any specific patches to the ssl or doveadm code for this issue, though it has undergone a few changes from 2.2.13. John |

[PATCH] verify against known fingerprints
I've just written this patch, it's undergone minimal testing and "works for me" and I'm after feedback as to acceptability of approach, anything I should be doing differently for the feature to be acceptable upstream and what I should be doing about automated testing. Use-case: you have the host's SSH fingerprints via an o...

Speex ACM codec released on www.openacm.org
...I also provide a portable playback tool (speexdec_wav) that handles both the Ogg and WAVE containers. Get the codec on www.openacm.org . Source code is available. It has plenty of features for a first release and I am confident that this release will not require too many bugfixes. However it has undergone only limited testing on my Windows XP system here. What I would like to figure out (among other things) is: * Does it run on Windows 95/98/ME too? * Is it compatible with the applications you use? * Do all features work as advertised? This beta release is compiled with Visual C++ .NET (2002)...

[LLVMdev] Oversight group for LLVM
Hello everyone, The LLVM project has evolved significantly since our first public release in Oct. 2003. Most importantly, we've gained many new users and several active contributors, and we want to encourage and support them and attract more. At the same time, the software itself has undergone some significant changes and improvements, and been ported to new platforms. We expect that both the community and the software will continue evolve significantly over time. We feel that this would be a good time to establish a small oversight group to manage the continued development, distri...

Need help with lmer model specification syntax for nested mixed model
...y make sense of the conflicting online information about whether and how to specify nesting structure for a nested, mixed model. I'll describe my experiment and hopefully somebody who knows lme4 well can help. We're measuring the fluorescence intensity of brain slices from frogs that have undergone various treatments. We want to use multcomp to look for differences between treatments, while accounting for the variance introduced by the random effects of brain and slice. There are a few measurements per slice, several slices per brain, and several brains per treatment. In the data file, th...
