self-heal trouble after changing arbiter brick
Hi Karthik,
Thank you for your reply. The heal is still undergoing, as the /var/log/glusterfs/glustershd.log keeps growing, and there's a lot of pending entries in the heal info.
The gluster version is 3.10.9 and 3.10.10 (the version update in progress). It doesn't have info summary [yet?], and the heal info is way too long to attach here. (It takes mo...

According to the /var/log/glusterfs/glustershd.log, the self-healing is undergoing, so it might be worth just sit and wait, but I'm wondering why this 64999 heal-count persists (a limitation on counter? In fact, gv2 and gv3 bricks contain roughly 30 million files), and I feel bothered because of the following output:

Good md5sum snapshot tool?
I have a server that is undergoing some patching soon and would like
to make note of any files that have changed after the patching is
complete. Can you recommend a tool that uses md5sum snapshots to do a
quick before and after test, showing anything that's changed on a
particular file system?

Try http://llvm.org/doxygen. That's the link from the llvm.org main
page. The docs subdirectory is probably undergoing change due to Daniel
Dunbar's work.

barplots
Hello,
I have somewhat of a weird data set and am attempting to create a barplot
with it.
I have 8 columns with different variables and their percentages. I have 1
column with representations of 4 different treatments the variables undergo.
I also have 1 column with year the data was recorded. I want to create a bar
plot that plots all 8 variables grouped by treatment and year.
I've tried creating subsets of each of the variables, no luck.
My variables are arranged similar to this:
Vascular.plants Solid.rock Gravel.and.cobbles...

Verizon Interconnection
Hi,
Has anyone on this list connected with Verizon's SIP product? We are
currently undergoing interop testing with Verizon, and honestly, it seems
like the most convoluted process. I'd be interested in talking with
someone else who has gone through this and run a few things past you.

Although one might add that attacks on the LAN can be nastier since there
usually is local access.
While I'm all for keeping machines current, there are production environments
where upgrading is a huge pain or outright impossible. Where any upgrades need
to undergo a rigorous QA process. Where an outdated environment including
equally outdated production tools needs to be maintained, on the chance e.g.
that a customer return requires reworking an old part. I would consider it
part of list etiquette to not second-guess those who for one reason or another...

shorewall doesn't support nftables, which is largely the point of
firewalld:? The Linux firewall system is currently undergoing yet
another deprecation and migration from iptables to nftables. firewalld
should remain stable during the migration process.? As far as I know,
there are no plans to support nftables under shorewall, so new users
will most likely throw away any investment they make in learning and

Survival statistics--displaying multiple plots
...iver disease is given by a number which is continuously
variable. I have referred to this number as "meld"--model for end stage
liver disease--which is the result of a mathematical calculation on
underlying laboratory values. So, for example, I can generate a Kaplan-Meier

>plot(survfit(Surv(days,status==1),subset(tips,meld<10))
where "tips" is my data set, "days" is the number of days alive, and meld is
the meld score.
What I would like to do is display the survival graphs of patients with

[LLVMdev] Downtime for llvm.org
...e performing some upgrades on llvm.org on Monday, June 24. The
upgrades are scheduled to begin around 11:00 am Central Time and should
take 3-4 hours.
During most of this time, llvm.org services (LLVM web page, CVS
repository, etc) will either be slow or unavailable. The machine will
also be undergoing an IP address change due to some recent network
changes at UIUC.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Replica 3 with arbiter - heal error?
...2 10.0.0.1:/vol /mnt/vol
I add:
iptables -A OUTPUT -d 10.0.0.1 -j REJECT
This causes the script above to block for approximately 40 seconds
until gluster client tries backupvolfile-server (can this timeout be
changed?) and everything continues as expected.
Heal info shows that this file (a.txt) undergoes healing. About a
minute later, last line of the a.txt contains $(date) same as just
before the firewall modification. Each consecutive write e.g. echo
"STRING" >> a.txt actually appends not the "STRING", but number of
bytes previously written.
If the file content just b...

SOCKSv6 and OpenSSH
Hi there,
I'm Vladimir Olteanu (or just Vlad, for short), and I'm working on the
SOCKSv6 protocol. It is being discussed at the IETF
(https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-olteanu-intarea-socks-6-10). The spec
has matured somewhat and is currently undergoing an adoption call at the
Intarea WG.
I would like to get your opinion on this newer version of the protocol,
in particular on how it would work for OpenSSH and what features and
tweaks you'd like to see included.
Version 6's core functionality is roughly equivalent to v4. It is

[LLVMdev] Alias Analysis (Andersen pointer analysis)
The README at the location shared by John says
"DSA is undergoing significant changes and may not be entirely stable
or correct.
See lib/DSA/README"
So, I was wondering from where should one pick the code. Although I will
start my analysis and see how results turn out to be. But any comments on
this line will be helpful.
Thanks
