The simple patch attached below prevent the crash, and allow xend to
start normally.
It seems the crash happens when bridged_ifname is set to eth2, whereas
eth2 doesn''t appear in ip -o link show.

FSMO Transfer fail
Hi for All!
I am using a Windows Server 2008R2 as primary DC and a Ubuntu Server 16.04
as secundary DC with Samba 4.3.9 (from repository/apt-get).
During a migration test of FSMO roles I received an error from Samba:

samba-tool domain classicupgrade with LDAP backend
Hi
I am testing the migration from our actual Samba domain, based on Samba
3.3.8 and LDAP (389DS) to Samba 4. I have followed the Samba4 Howto, and I
have successfully compiled it. Now I am running the classicupgrade command,
but I am getting some errors.
First of them is that the script is ignoring the "ldap group suffix"
parameter in smb.conf, and is always searching in the

It's interesting that during the first boot (before the network-bridge
is brought up for the first time), there doesn't seem to be a problem
doing /etc/init.d/xend start. Only subsequent /etc/init.d/xend/starts
seem to fai...

Upgrading BIND DNS Backend
Hi,
I am trying to upgrade frm INTERNAL DNS to BIND_DLZ.
I followed the procedure given in
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Changing_the_DNS_Back_End_of_a_Samba_AD_DC
and https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/BIND9_DLZ_DNS_Back_End.
When I start the BIND Service, it fails with an error. In journalctl -xe
we come to know that named service is unbale to open dlz_bind9_9.so file.
