ITSP Multi IPs
Hi,
I'm hoping someone has a suggestion for us.
We have an ITSP that sends inbound traffic to us. Unannounced to us last
week they started alternately sending traffic from two IP addresses, instead
of the one we knew about. Some calls would pass, and others would be dumped
as unauthenticated.
I added the 2nd IP to the sip.conf file to allow for this, and everything
was fine until this morning.

changed behaviour of 'get' in 2.8.0: request for unchange
There is an unannounced and non-backwards-compatible change to the behaviour of 'get' in R2.8.0. 'get'ting a missing value now causes an error, whereas hitherto it's just returned a "missing" object. For example, in R2.8.0 this happens:

Indeed, no passwords have yet every been passed with a client
connection. And this shouldn't in itself inhibit authentication.
It is difficult not to suspect an icecast 2.3.1 bug, but I'm still
hoping it is some sort of XML typo or unannounced spec change.
I would be most grateful for any help or ideas. Thanks in advance,

is still a work in process.
Bottom line: If you rely on Ubuntu providing as many packages as possible
for your R experience, the R 3.5 c2d4u-verse is not ready yet. When it is,
I'll let you know.

| I think it's best to only publish R packages in c2d4u, not system libs.
Well but how come Travis looking at this still-unfinished and unannounced PPA

My Travis setup isn't; I still use R 3.4.4 because, well, c2d4u3.5 is not
announced.
(Maybe you should consider adding a local PPA with a (compatible) libmagick++
and a higer version number.)

New version (2.2) of the sm package
The sm package (by Adrian Bowman and Adelchi Azzalini) implements a
variety of nonparametric smoothing techniques, centred on nonparametric
regression for one or two covariates and density estimation for up to
three variables. A new version of the package is now available on CRAN.
In an earlier unannounced version (2.1), a variety of methods of
bandwidth
selection were added, with default settings to allow particularly simple
function calls.
In the new version (2.2), interactive control panels are available for
the main functions (sm.regression and sm.density), using the rpanel
package

"leave mail on server" workaround
Hello,
POP users often keep fetched mail on server, by checking for "leave mail
on server" or similar option in their client.
What would be the best way to disallow them using such approach. That
is, what is the best way to force deletion of messages that have been
RETRieved in a POP session at the end of that POP session?
RETRieved messages will be marked as \Seen, but since users

Transfers on the Cisco 7960
I noticed that there is a soft button for transfer when you initiate a
call. I pressed it, and it actually put the call on hold, although I was
able to call another extension. Is that soft button functional? And if
so, how do you make use of it? And if not, how does one transfer a call?

how about HP's iPad-killer slate PC
netbook (http://www.laptopspark.com)
During CES (http://www.laptopspark.com/products/HP-Pavilion-dv6-3230us-NoteBook-Intel-Core-i3-370M240GHz-156-4GB-Memory-500GB-HDD-5400rpm-DVD-Super-Multi-Intel-HD-Graphics-laptop-2039.html) 2010, Hewlett-Packard issued a preemptive strike against the still-unannounced iPad by showing off its own tablet PC at Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer's keynote. Only briefly seen and largely undescribed, it may not have left a lasting impression on the audience, but it showed that, like Dell and others, HP was not going to cede the suddenly sexy tablet market to Apple.

http://gpgee.excelcia.org to download it.
New features include:

- Support for verifying multi-signed documents.
- Automated new version checking (this was actually added in 1.1.3 but
that version was unannounced)
- Can automatically change the status of source files to read-only after
they are signed. Useful for cases where a certain type of file''s
reader (MS Excel with spreadsheets is one) changes the file when it is

Binaries for AIX 5.1
Hi,
I'm looking for binaries of Samba 3 for AIX 5.1
The ones availables on Samba's FTP (
http://us3.samba.org/samba/ftp/Binary_Packages/AIX/ ) are given for AIX
5.2 or 5.3 (what is said in the README)
I found references to 3.0.21 packages (like in this message
http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2006-January/116792.html ) that had
existed, but this one is no longer avaible :(
So, do
