I have installed Samba2.2.7a on an Ultra5 Solaris 8 Operating System. The smb.conf file has been configured and all appears to work fine. My 12 year old wants to learn more about servers and has memorized a lot of commands like ls, chmod, du, etc. He wants to have his own domain and server on the web and I have enough Static IP's, so why not foster this interest. Hello, I tried to install samba 3.0.0. on sa slackware system and within the "make" process I have this error: "Binding bin/smbd :collect2: ld terminated with signal 15 [Terminated] make : *** [bin/smbd] Error 1."
