Any way to prevent mapped drives?
...another reason to prevent them: Several of the viruses will run down through all the drives, real and mapped, and trash them. I would like to prevent that (yes, we have virus protection everywhere, but sometimes they get in before the vendors have a cure). -- Gary Algier, WB2FWZ gaa at ulticom.com +1 856 787 2758 Ulticom Inc., 1020 Briggs Rd, Mt. RH 7.1 and Ctrl+Alt+Del [off topic]
I know this isn't samba problem, but I hope that You'll understand. I have RH 7.1 installed (Kernel 2.4.2-2) and I have strange, funny but really dangerous problem. In every moment (even when there is login screen) in text mode when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del my machine simply shuts down. Is there any fix for this? PZDRWM Szmoyn

Multiple Instancies of Samba on a single System
Hi out there, i intend to run multiple Instancies of Samba on a single, multi-homed, server, with each instance bound to a specific (logical) interface. If this works, it would be fine to me. Mainly for administrative Reasons. (You won't believe, but from time to time it becomes necessary to restart some services, but restarting the entire server is a real mess) Well here my
