Hi- I need to create simple charts on the fly - I had used JFreeChart in the past with inJ2EE apps. Is there any equivalent here for Ruby. My charting needs are simple: just line charts. Also if anyone has done this, pls let me know how I should go about in doing it. Thanks -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

SQL bug in acts_as_taggable
...BY" clause, which seems reasonable to me. The last line should be: sql << " GROUP BY #{t}.name, #{t}.#{t_pk}" It seems strange, however, that I''m the only one to be bitten by this bug, so I wonder if maybe some other database (MySQL?) lets this pass. suggestion: hide Unix UGO permissions when mode is 0
I had been thinking this would be a good idea, but figured if it could be easily done, then it would be done already. Then I came across this article: http://www.suse.de/~agruen/acl/linux-acls/online/ which has this to say: ----------------------- The mapping between POSIX and Windows ACLs described here is found in this form in the SuSE and the UnitedLinux products, while the official

Tools/mechanisms for the management of access permissions in big filebased datasets
...ctories. Projects are represented by directory trees and mapped through GIDs. Lately we had lots of "singular" permission request (one single user needs access to a single dataset but should not be able to see all other datasets belonging to the same project). We realized, that the UGO model doesn't scale and is becoming more and more unmanageable. Can you recommend tools/mechanisms/technologies to overcome the drawbacks of the UGO model? We are thinking about some purely ACL based mechanism (but are open to other ideas). All filesystems in question are mounted via NFS...
