That author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says audio failed. ...determine if it's a router/internet/wow/linux(wine) issue. All my realID friends show location unknown (regular toon friends properly show the location). ...r this is, I have found a mouse.c patch that enables a sort of HW OpenGL cursor for WoW. (Basically shows the wine hw cursor instead of hiding it, then with a mod the openGL SW cursor is hidden, but that default windows mouse icon is ugly). I'm on Ubuntu Lucid with the Wine PPA in my repos, and wine --version still gives "wine-1.2", not 1.3.0 and on. What's the magic incantation to get the dev releases? - d.

If anybody know HOW I can use the X11 cursor theme in Wine?

i have read everything i can find relating to this and i got nothing i have ubuntu 11.04 wine 1.3.15 amd athlon x2 dual core QL-60 ati radeon graphics card 3100 i belive at first i was running wine 1.2 and i got the water glitch. trolled for a while and updated the version to 1.3 now WoW wont load after pushing the play button on the loader. after more looking i fount that wine 1.3.26 will work

That's what I'm going to do, after purging all the current nvidia stuff frommy system. The second thing I'm going to do is download, build and install the latest decent version of Wine. I had some some weird issues with the last patch but the latest one is bad. If I click on my action bar the screen will pause for about 2sec/+, I try to pan camera same problem. In auto-run it's happens about once every 30s, in manual run forward it's about every 10s. It all started with 1.1.28, now how do I go back to an older version?
