AWDwR typography question
So, I''ve been listing to stuff folks have been saying about the
Bookman font we use. Most people like the font, but some feel there
aren''t enough words/line, so your eyes move too much.
So, I spent the weekend playing with typography, and I''ve come up
with a compromise. The thing is: it looks good to me, but I don''t
want to mess up the read for others

How do I get Garamond font in R?
Folks,
I run R on a early 2009 MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion.
I have a bunch of fonts in my user Library one of which is Garamond.
I have tried the ttf_import function to no avail. I played with this for a couple of hours at least and I have gotten nowhere.
Here is a bit of one of my sessions (note that I used file.choose to get down to the Font level)

you do add/remove strings from the PO files, can you give me an e-mail,
so that I can keep the translation in sync?? Thanks!

Timothy

Artwork localization
Hello everyone,
What do you think about having localized the following CentOS
components:
- Rolling notes in CentOS installer.
These images are shown during the installation process, once the
configuration is done and you are waiting for packages to be installed.
Rolling notes are a great place to promote CentOS. If they are not
localized, they are shown in English language by default.

documents, but would welcome any suggestions as to what I have missed.

[LLVMdev] Updated: Documentation, Setting up a Windows Buildbot Slave
Hi again,
I've been working pretty hard throughout the night and now I've got a
substantially updated version of the Windows build doc. From now on it is
your feedback, however, that drives the changes. I can't think of anything
else that needs to be documented at this point in the process.
Is this the correct way of doing things? That I post revisions on this

peg-markdown (C) and rpeg-markdown (ruby gem)
Markdowners:
I've released version 0.4.1 of peg-markdown, a C implementation of

inspect the grammar for markdown at

lunamark 0.2
I'm pleased to announce the release of lunamark 0.2. This is a complete
rewrite of the 2009 version, with a new API. I am very grateful to Hans Hagen,
who resurrected the project for use in ConTeXt and made major improvements in
the efficiency and performance of the code.
Lunamark is a lua library and command-line program for conversion of markdown
to other textual formats. Currently HTML,

quotes
Hello!
I''m new on this list (and actually pretty new to redcloth also).
This e-mail is about the wery fine feature of converting quotes. I''m
norwegian, and we have our own qoutes: "?" and "?".
I therefore hacked this feature, so it is now in lib/redcloth.rb,
around line 404, so I now have:
