Echo on SPA-3000 FXO
I've had an spa3k in service here at the house for a while now. After some initial wrangling, it's been working okay. I've had to reboot it a couple times and have noticed something rather annoying though. My setup is pretty simple and, dare I say, common. I have the SPA-3000 "inline" between my incoming POTS line and the internal house phone. It's setup to deliver

Re: teliax [Was: LiveVoip is Bankrupt]

Office to Office via IAX2 problems
I'm going to try and lay out all the relevant information I have here in this one post. I can provide more info if necessary. ISSUE 1: Office A routinely looses connection to Office B. When typing IAX2 Show Peers, it will show as Unreachable. I issue IAX2 Reload and it will work again for 1-3 days (haven't narrowed the time down yet). My theory is that the DSL at Office2 is changing

I've broken voicemail
I went to put in the new sound files over the weekend, but forgot to backup the custom folder and lost my custom digital receptionist files. I then had to copy the old files back from a duplicate machine. The problem is now though that voicemail just hangs up when I dial it. Other apps work - *70 for example gives me 'call waiting...activated' so I know it's accessing the files

Polycom digitmap question
via google, I found the reference regarding digit maps for the Polycom phones: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2005-January/082884.html But I don't see any instruction for prepending digits to the number dialed. Does anyone know how to prepend a digit to the number dialed (from the Polycom side, not Asterisk)? I can do this pretty easily on a Sipura. i.e. Say I want to

What wrong with asteriskathome.org
I saw on here where there was an asteriskathome site where I could sign up for the mailing list. However when I bring up that site I just get a blank page. Is www.asteriskathome.org the correct address? Bob

stupid trick of the day (fried polycom)
I've been playing around with a new system I'm going to install in another office. In setting up the Polycom's, I accidently used a new power supply from a new 601 (24VDC) with an 600. The 600 only require 12VDC. Now, I get nothing on the screen of the 600 when I plug in 12 VDC. (At the time, I didn't even realize the power supplies were supplying different voltages.)

Transfer to outside line.
Finally got everything up and run with the help of Manny Wise last night. So I am setting up my digital assistant and getting down to the task I need this box to perform the most. I need to have a custom app that I can call that will take me pressing 2 at the menu and have it transfer the call to a offsite phone number utilizing my Zap Trunk. I'm sure someone has done this already. Anyone want

7777 (simulate incoming call) not working
I'm setting up a new AAH 1.0 box to replace my AAH 0.6 box. Though on the new box, I've installed a generic ebay X100P. I don't have my livevoip or voicepulse accounts set up yet on the new box (can both boxes be registered at the same time?). I've set up one IP phone (SPA841) with the new box. I have my SBC POTS line plugged into the fxo card. I set up everything in AMP.

Features you'd like to see in a GUI?
Sherwood, Your intentions are noble and your desire to build this, fullfills an immediate need for business. If your intention is just to build a GUI for Asterisk, read no further. If your desire is to build something more purposeful, your best bet would be to see the existing commercial GUI/HostedPBX offerings like Pbxware and Switchware from bicomsystems.com ( http://www.bicomsystems.com)

Digit Map for IP500 - prepend digits from phone
via google, I found the reference regarding digit maps for the Polycom phones: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2005-January/082884.html But, I don't see how to "prepend" a digit(s) to a number dialed (from the phone, not in an Asterisk extensions file). For instance, I have several trunks. Each trunk can be manually dialed by dialing a specific number in front

ATA186 & X100P - detect hangup
I have a Vonage acct that uses the Cisco ATA186. Currently, I have the ATA186 plugged into a SPA3000 to act as the FXO port. I installed a X100P card with the idea of replacing the SPA3000. Now, when I plug in the ATA186 into the X100P card and make a call into the system (from cell phone) and hangup when the IVR is playing, Asterisk is not detecting a hangup and keeps looping the IVR. If
