GIMP 2.4 packages for CentOS 5
...e regrets with CentOS 5 was that GIMP only came in version 2.2, but 2.4 offers many nifty new functions quite handy for everyday work. For those of you who are interested, I built some GIMP 2.4 packages for CentOS 5. Download and install (using rpm -Uvh) the following packages: http://download.tuxfamily.org/centos/5/os/i386/RPMS/gimp-2.4.6-1.zzz.i386.rpm http://download.tuxfamily.org/centos/5/os/i386/RPMS/gimp-libs-2.4.6-1.zzz.i386.rpm http://download.tuxfamily.org/centos/5/os/i386/RPMS/gtk2-2.10.14-4.zzz.i386.rpm http://download.tuxfamily.org/centos/5/os/i386/RPMS/libexif-0.6.15-3.zzz.i386.rpm ht...

chronyd configuration as a local ntp server
...ronyd 2.1.1 I am looking into how to use chronyd as my local ntp server. On my old servers with ntpd I had local access control lines like: restrict 192.168.128.0 mask 255.255.255.0 nomodify notrap But in looking for documentation on chronyd I did not find anything on this at: https://chrony.tuxfamily.org/doc/2.1/manual.html In the actual /etc/chronyd.conf there is the sample line: # Allow NTP client access from local network. #allow 192.168/16 Does this allow only allow queries? Does chronyd support the 'restrict' option? thank you

...nome-winow-decorator in a different way. If this isn't possible, I'd suggest to compiz packagers (Amaranth already knows this) to use a way to split the packages similar to this for keeping a cross-Desktop-environment.
