GIMP 2.4 packages for CentOS 5
...e regrets with CentOS 5 was that GIMP only came in version
2.2, but 2.4 offers many nifty new functions quite handy for everyday
work. For those of you who are interested, I built some GIMP 2.4
packages for CentOS 5.
Download and install (using rpm -Uvh) the following packages:

Samba Time Synchronisation wikipage
I have update the Time Synchronisation Wikipage:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Time_Synchronisation
It now includes information for the 'chrony' time server.
If you spot any errors or omissions, or if you think that something
could be said better, please report back ;-)
Could I also thank Louis Van Belle for proofreading the page.

chronyd configuration as a local ntp server
...ronyd 2.1.1
I am looking into how to use chronyd as my local ntp server.
On my old servers with ntpd I had local access control lines like:
restrict 192.168.128.0 mask 255.255.255.0 nomodify notrap
But in looking for documentation on chronyd I did not find anything on
this at:
https://chrony.tuxfamily.org/doc/2.1/manual.html
In the actual /etc/chronyd.conf there is the sample line:
# Allow NTP client access from local network.
#allow 192.168/16
Does this allow only allow queries? Does chronyd support the 'restrict'
option?
thank you

[PATCH] Zoom only on manual rotate option
This patch will add a new option (zoom_manual_only) in the rotate plugin
that (by default) will make it zoom only on mouse initiate (so no more
on d&d, window move and key-rotate)...

What about splitting the gtk-window-decorator ?!
...nome-winow-decorator in a
different way.
If this isn't possible, I'd suggest to compiz packagers (Amaranth
already knows this) to use a way to split the packages similar to this
for keeping a cross-Desktop-environment.

[PATCH] Use X-Fleur cursor on move
...the most common Desktop
Environments like KDE and GNOME (I don't know in xfce and others).
Simply take the patch and apply it (it's only 1 line); then you won't
have anymore the bad (imho) "+" cursor ;)
