Something wasn't "happy" about SIP/54 in your system when Asterisk tried
talking to it.
So you tried this:
"...

exten => 4,n(line2),Dial(${FD_L2},20,trw)

What that will do is go to the first instance of "4,n(line2)", which is the
line that seems to be triggering the channel failure. If you have the
Asterisk console open, I'll bet you see it spew some errors when you try

But when a client browses MicroSoft Network Neighborhood the server does not show up. It does show up in Active Directory. We've still got users that cannot get away from Network Brotherhood usage.

This is a new installation - tried mirroring settings from an OLD AIX 4.3 / Samba 2.2.3 environment.
Suggestions on what to look at in problem determination and the resolution would be appreciated.

kinit succeeded but ads_sasl_spnego_krb5_bind failed: NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED
Failed to join domain: failed to connect to AD: NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED
and I have not been able to persuade google to give this answer up.
I am sure Kerberos works. When I test it, "kinit sambatest at AD.TRW.COM", the test succeeds. I don't get an error. And I can view the ticket with klist.
What does the "NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED" mean and how do I remedy it?

TRW: getters and setters
...byish something/something= style (i.e. uniform
access).
For example, the Button class currently has
button.get_label and button.set_label("foo"). It
would give me warm, fuzzy feelings if I could do
button.label and button.label = "foo". :)
Just a thought.

problems mounting smbfs
I've spent the last 2 days trying to get smbfs to mount via fstab.
Using redhat 7.3 and the latest samba as of 7/17/02.
I can mount from the command line using smbmount as follows:
smbmount //localhost/wwwshare /smbwww -o username=smbuser,password=xxxxxxxx
I can not mount from the command line using:
mount -t smbfs -o username=smbuser,password=xxxxxxxx //localhost/wwwshare /smbwww

Changing Domains from NT4 / AD 2000
Hello all.
AIX 4.3.3 / Samba 2.0.6 / Production NT4.0 domain
Security = DOMAIN
encrypt passwords = yes
update encrypted = yes
Action: Moving from NT4.0 domain called nt40 to AD 2000 Domain called ad-domain
Problem: Users that have been migrated to ad-domain cannot authenticate to AIX SAMBA shares . . . the AIX SAMBA server is still part of the nt40 domain.
Explanation: I can however, map /

Authentication failure
Hi I'm having trouble routing a call between two A*k servers I admin.
SERVER- A: has a simple extensions set, and just needs to Dial to server
B, but authenticate as part of the dial:
exten =>
777,1,Dial(SIP/abc-777:mypassword at someip.no-ip.info:5071/777,40,trw)
exten => 777,2,Hangup
So that should pass the call to the server listening on port 5071 of
someip.no-ip.info, using the username of abc-777 and password of
"mypassword", and pass it into extension 777 on that server.
SERVER-B has a sip account defined as:

What do you think about this? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel for us?
Is it possible to implement this conversion into Samba or does anybody has

NT4 User Unable to log in to Samba 1.9.17p5
I've got a user here that is unable to connect to any of the Samba shares
that are available -- in fact, she doesn't even get past the username /

To narrow down the problem, I logged onto her machine as myself

After almost every reboot, Samba printing is DOA under Solaris 2.6...
I just thought that I would put this out there and see if anyone else
sees this problem with Samba 1.9.18p4 (under Solaris 2.6).
It appears that after some reboots of Solaris, Samba printing is partly
dead. What I see in the logs are below, and what happens is that the
file to be printed is spooled to /var/spool/samba, like always, but
when the lpr command is issued it croaks. I've been

it's my first post here on this mailing list and I hope, I make it right.
I posted a question on

here (I'm talking about any new dovecot version and I've tested it with
