Video Hardware Decoding: Jittery Rectangles on Nvidia GT218 NVA8 VP4.
...es. The plan was to do mmt traces of the blob >> driver, and figure out what it was doing differently. <snip> I don't really know anything about hw coding, but looking from the outside, it seems some kind of ring buffer with exact 3 frames maybe intended to work kinda like using tripple buffering? I know for once that nvidia works better using tripple buffering from what I've read from the kwin threads. Solerman

What is the correct Targettripple for generating a X86 COFF-Files on windows?
...eTargetMachine(LTarget, 'i386-win32-msvc', nil, > nil, LLVMCodeGenLevelDefault, LLVMRelocDefault, LLVMCodeModelDefault); > A call to LLVMTargetMachineEmitToFile using LLVMObjectFile does output a obj-file. But it seems it is an ELF-File. Looking through the code(and looking into the Tripple.cpp) i am not sure what to do exactly for creating a COFF-File. Problems with simple samba setup
...mpt for a username/password appears (it shouldn't anyway), but instead of connecting to the share it displays the same generic error again, however this time with "The user name could not be found" on the end. Firstly, permissions are correctly set on the path of the shares. I've tripple cheked this then tripple checked again. $ ls -l /var/smb drwsrwsr-x 2 ittechs ittechs 4096 2008-04-30 09:28 ittechs drwsrwsr-x 2 msoffice msoffice 4096 2008-04-30 09:28 msoffice Both the ittechs and msoffice users have an smb password set, again I've checked and re-checked. $ cat /etc/samba/s...

[LLVMdev] Re: gcc like attributes and annotations
...makes it harder for tools to introspect anntoations. Java's annotations rely on simple types for the same principle and I think it is the right way for most things. There could be an opaque type for more complex information, which should be discouraged. This would also make it possible to have tripple of Value,AnnotationType,Name to match the Annotation, which helps to the solve the collision problem too. The lookup mechanism could lookup by anything of the tripple: - Target Value - AnnotationType - Name NULL values are wildcards. So you could say: Give me all annotations for a Value* /// F...

Modify but not create permissions
I am still trying to figure out why samba wont let me create in subdirectories I've tripple checked everything and a few things leapt out at me. *) I can modify a file inside a directory that I cannot create a file in. using gtalk received instant messages in the dialplan
I have been doing some reading about gtalk and asterisk. Most of it is pointed to enable using gtalk for making phonecalls. Would it be possible to use gtalk instant messaging input (just some text send to the gtalk account configured on an asterisk box) into the dialplan. This way you could use gtalk im to trigger all kind of events like sending an sms, adding sip entries to the system,

Thanks to every one
Halo Valeri, let's think about what a hpc cluster is for. Second, one should always ask the question where security is to be applied, then one can come to the following decision: - The firewall is placed in front of the cluster. - After you have found a safe base for this, you freeze it. - We have a rsync of centos and epel on the head node. >From here, we can always reinstall a node

Video Hardware Decoding: Jittery Rectangles on Nvidia GT218 NVA8 VP4.
Hi, I'm having trouble with hardware decoding of video with mpv(1) having switched from Nvidia's proprietary driver to nouveau due to Arch Linux removing its nvidia-340xx package. The machine is an Acer Revo. $ lspci -nn | grep VGA 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation GT218 [ION] [10de:0a64] (rev a2) I think this is codename NVA8 with the

LoginEngine / UserEngine conceptual help
All, I have a small Intranet app I''m trying to get ready for remote access. (I only have 15 or so users for now and I don''t plan to be adding very many more.). I have installed the login engine and it seems to be working as advertized. (Great job!) For my needs I don''t want random people to be able to register and get access to my app, but I will need to register

...other stuff outside the kernel. Even if you do "yum update" frequently if you don't restart, there are several daemons and features of your system that doesn't get patched - the code is in memory and changing the disk has no effect at all. Bottom line is, I would not be proud of tripple digit single server uptimes. It simply tells me, I can find lots of ways in - not that you're running a rock solid setup. -- Regards, Peter Larsen

What would I need to do this?
...l usualy be getting 12 concurrent calls at a time. And am planning on getting up to 100 in the near future. So using the G711 Codec, recieving 100 calls through a DID. What kind of computer and internet connection would I need? To handle that many calls, would I need an acutal server, with dual or tripple CPU's? Or could I just use a fast normal PC? Could I do it over a DSL line or would I need something fancy. Thanks in advanced Mike

Internet exposed asterisk server.
...#39;User <sip:User@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx>' failed for 'yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy' - Wrong password Were xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the internal ip of the asterisk server, not the ip the external ip (the ip on the internet) and were yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy is my external ip address as seen on the internet. I trippled check all the authentication details. Why is it not working on the exposed server? Did I do something wrong? Is there special confugurations when exposing an asterisk server? Thanks in advance.
