It it doesn't work, you will need to buy or make a crossover RJ-48 like the shown below: T1 or E1 PRI crossover cable: (Taken from http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/Chebucto/Technical/Manuals/Max/max6000/gs/cables.htm): RJ48C/RJ48C Install this cable when the WAN interface transmits on pins 5 and 4 and receives on pins 2 and 1. Refer to Figure C-2 <http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/Chebucto/Technical/Manuals/Max/max6000/gs/cables.htm#17423> and Table C-5 <http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/Chebucto/Technical/Manuals/Max/max6000/gs/cables.htm#30240>. Figure C-2. RJ48C/RJ48C crossover cable Table C-5. RJ48C/RJ48C crossover cable specifications That'll do. Cheers, -- Ing. Not an answer to your question but maybe helpfull. If you use pri to connect two servers you might prefer the European way ( E1 ) instead of T1 because it will offer you 7 extra channels. As far as I know most pri cards support both. Be aware of the role each card has to play: one the telco role and the other the enduser role.
