windows 2003 install trhough vnc problem
Hello,
I want to install a 2003 guest on a Debian Etch with xen binary
packages (apt-get install), but through a vnc console (no graphical
interface). So I launch the xm create in an ssh connection, and want
to connect through vnc to complete the installation of windows.
So the domain gets created with xm create but no VNC port is displayed:

weird 185 secs timeout call problem
...ID providers ( other
providers or trunks are fine) and I could reproduce it by calling a
queue from my Wengophone Softphone and letting the MoH play for 185
secs. If I make the same call from my WRTP54G on the same place, the
call doest not get hung up after 185 secs.
The incoming calls go trhough a queue and get mixmonitored. I will
make further tests but I tried changing several timeout and keepalive
parameters on sip.conf but nothing got effect. Even tried with
reinvites enabled and disabled.
Does any one have a clue?
Thanks

Transferring H.323 Call
Hi,
I've got two H.323 Client connected to Asterisk, when one of them requests
boeing connected to the other I use CALL application and both get in touch
trhough asterisk, but using Call Asterisk stays on the middle and the sound
quality gets poor. Is there any way to 'transfer' the call so Asterisk
doesn't stay in the middle ??
I use OpenH323GK (www.gnugk.org <http://www.gnugk.org/> ) as the gatekeeper.
Thanks a lot.

Routing packges by destination port
...tion... I mounted a router that makes my conections
throug 2 external interfaces.
Its working fine and my default gateway for entire network behind it
(nated) is the link at interface eth0.
All traffic going to port 80 is maked as 0x1 and I route it to a table
that makes its default route trhough link2 (eth3).
My problem begins when I try to use transparent proxy (squid) with this
rule:
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.0.0/24 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 80 -j
REDIRECT --to-ports 3128
If I make this rule my routing tables begins to scramble all my traffic
and makes it going ALL...

Problem when leaving voicemail
Hi,
I am investigating an issue with voicemail and realtime.
What we are seeing is the following:
1. Caller calls in and goes to an IVR
2. Presses 101 to go to voicemail
3. app_voicemail start and tries to connect to the database trhough
res_config_mysql. However, it takes too long to be able to connect (~15
minutes)
It seems like it first attemots to connect to the database on 16:25:03 and
manage to connect at 16:40:24.

SIP peer / Maximum retries exceeded on transmission
...ne about this type of problem suggest
NAT as being the culprit, but in this case, Asterisk is logging it's
reception of the ACK but deciding to ignore it and retransmit the

because they believe SIP isn't getting back trhough after a period of

Root cannot delete files through samba share
Dear,
We are integrating Samba with Active Directory in the company. The goal
is to provide a samba share to users of AD. In this case, we need all users
to write on the share, but nobody modify or delete any files. Even the user
who owns it.
With this, we would create only one AD user, if necessary with root
powers, which could erase everything.
For this, we test several lines, such as

Cisco 7960 become UNREACHABLE behind pix firewall
Hi,
I have about 10 Cisco 7960s behind a PIX 506E (IOS v6.3) firewall.
After some period of time, asterisk says that some of them are
unreachable, and the phones lose their registration.
The only way to make the phones recover is to clear the NAT
translation tables for the phones on the PIX (clear xlate...)
Does anyone know how to fix this? As you can imagine, it is quite
annoying. And it does not

ACL: need additional samba option ?
Hi All,
I need to setup the following rights behavior trhough samba and I'm currently
stuck after lots of unsuccessful tests. Maybe one of you has an idea or a
solution to this problem...
Here it comes:
- A share must be available only to some users belonging to the "project"
group.
That's easy:
valid users = @project
- There are s...

Risc-v Assembly printer function order
...are not treated in this order.
My question is : Is there a way to force llvm to treat the functions in
the order given in the original C file ? and how?
I treat each function in the EmitFunctionBody funtion of the AsmPrinter
class, and the function is passed through the MachineFunction passed
trhough the runOnMachineFunction function. I didn't find where this last
function is called.
So I wish maybe to alter the way this function is called for each
Function to call it in the "right" order...
Thanks,
Best regards,

Dual Redundant Network routing [Question]
Greetings,
I have a routing problem I am hoping can be solved.
I have three networks. A Private network, and a dual network the private
network connects too. The internal network talks through a
gateway/router(linux redhat 7.2) that has a default route set that allows
the internal network to talk to a computer on the external networks. The
external network is a Redundant network scheme in

fastest way to compute the squared Euclidean distance between two vectors in R
I have a program which needs to compute squared Euclidean distance
between two vectors million of times, which the Rprof shows is the
bottleneck. I wondered if there is any faster way than my own simple
function
distance2 = function(x1, x2)
{
temp = x1-x2
sum(temp*temp)
}
I have searched the R-help archives and can not find anything except
when the arguments are matrices. Thanks for any

zfs, raidz, spare and jbod
Hi.
I installed solaris express developer edition (b79) on a supermicro
quad-core harpertown E5405 with 8 GB ram and two internal sata-drives.
I installed solaris onto one of the internal drives. I added an areca
arc-1680 sas-controller and configured it in jbod-mode. I attached an
external sas-cabinet with 16 sas-drives 1 TB (931 binary GB). I
created a raidz2-pool with ten disks and one spare.
