TE410 - 3.3v?
I just noticed that the new TE410 only supports 3.3v PCI. How do you know if it will work in your machine? It's not something commonly listed in your motherboard specs.... I was thinking about getting one for an Athlon 750 that is a spare box I'm doing testing on... (Original SlotA) -G

Problems with Digium TE410
Hello List Just want to check if anybody else is having this problem. Every time the PRI connections are disconnected, the card freezes, and I have to reload the driver, to make it work again. We are very seriously considering switching to Sangoma at this moment, due to this and other problems, but I want to know if there is a solution, and to make sure it isn't asterisk that's freezing

E400 or TE410 (digium) vs PRI 30M (Eicon)
Hello, I would like to have some comparison between E1 cards from Digium and those from Eicon for a VOIP - ISDN Gateway. How does they compare on the echo cancel point of view? Is the echocancellation code for E400 good enough for production environment? Asterisk Memory Requirements
I have asterisk installed on a Dell 2850 dual-Xeon 3.0Ghz box with 2GB of memory. This is serving about 75 sip clients, Polycom500's and 600's. We are running into problems with the memory. Asterisk, right now, is using about 1.8GB of system memory. I am using Asterisk 1.0.7, Zaptel 1.0.7 with Digiums TE410 1xT1 RBS and 1xT1 PRI, Libpri 1.0.7 on Fedora Core 3. My question; is this

Asterisk scalability?
Hi I plan to setup an asterisk box to function as a SIP gateway forwarding lots of calls to/from a backend of several other asterisk boxes, each with a TE410 card for PSTN connectivity. It will only gateway the calls into the PSTN gateways. No transcoding is planned - only plain ALAW. How many concurrent calls would you think this can handle? I'm asked to plan a system that can handle

Zaptel DAX?
I could swear that I remember seeing some announcement somewhere that Zaptel now supported drop-and-insert across spans on a TE410P, but now I can't find it. Am I imagining this? We just got our TE410 up and running, and if we could cross-connect digital channels with it, I think we'd buy another one for the remote end (instead of using the T100P we have). Searching Google ("zaptel

Sangoma card dying after 1hour
Hello List I am having a rather big problem with a sangoma A104 card, I just installed to replace a Digium TE410 card, that was acting up. But now we have a problem with the sangoma card. It runs great after being started, and calls proceed as normal, but after about 1 hour, it stops being able to make and receive calls. If I run wanpipemon debug, can see that the card still receives

What about T400 T1 cards?
Can anyone clue me in about these T400 T1 cards I see advertised? I hear they are Digium Clones. Is there some reason to avoid these? How do they compare to TE410P's for example. Bart

DTMF weirdness
I've got a handful of T1s going into a TE410. When I place calls into the system over these T1s, the system either doesn't decode all of the DTMF digits or it decodes ones that aren't there. When the system places calls out, there is no problem doing the DTMF detection. Everything works great.

I've seen this question asked before but haven't seen a definative answer. Does the e100p work in australia? Did any one who was asking the question before bite the bullet and get one? I can get a te410 if i really have to but would prefer to stay with the cheaper option. Any comments appreciated, Thanks ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP:

(UN)structured E1
Hi all. We are getting our first PRI line to use with Asterisk and one of the technical specifications is about framing, structured or unstructured. The main difference about them is almost clear for me: http://ckp.made-it.com/g704.html says: "G.704 is the framing specification for G.703. A carrier can 'steal' a 64kbps time slot (TS0) from a 2.048 Mbps line and use this to

Digium and Intel Chipset compatability
Hi, I'm going to be setting up some machines with 4 port E1 cards from Digium and I'm being told that TE410 is incompatable with several Intel chipsets including the ones in a lot of Dell server systems. Is this true? I can't find any confirmed details on the mailing list about it. Also, the email seems to imply that the TE405P will be fine, though it doesn't say that explicitly.
