make fails on Solaris building include/proto.h
I'm trying to build Samba 3.0.2 or 3.0.2a on a Solaris system (I've
tried both Solaris 8 and Solaris 9), and after successfully running
configure, the "make" step hangs building proto.h.
Checking the process table, the command that is hanging is:
nawk -v headername=_PROTO_H_ -f script/mkproto.awk
I've tried running this command by hand and it also hangs. I've

Also there were attempts to implement a LLVM Xtensa backend, but
recently I found only one actual link:

[LLVMdev] llvm::ShuffleVectorInst yields incorrect vector length in 2.6
Hi,
When I emit the llvm::ShuffleVectorInst instruction from my code generator
the result vector has the length of vector 1, instead of the element type of
vector 1 and the length of the mask vector;
%13 = load <3 x float>* %w ; <<3 x float>> [#uses=0]
%14 = shufflevector <3 x float> %13, <3 x float> undef, <2 x i32> <i32 1,

WinZip causes Server to fail - Please help.......
...it involving causing a
live server to potentially need a hardware reboot which is something i'm not
particularly keen on doing (suprise, suprise)
In all other respects, each server functions perfectly in all other respects
and certainly in respect to SMB file serving.
Any hints, pointers or suggesions (unless they revolve around Win2k as an
alternative file server....) will be greatfully received

Problems with simple samba setup
...uest ok = Yes
nt acl support = No
browseable = No
The only odd thing which I have been able to discover is that winbindd *is*
running. Now I read somewhere that it shouldn't be unless you're doing NT
domain integration, which I'm not. This should just be a standalone server.
Any hints, suggesions or help most gratefully received...

samba 4 ad member - idmap = ad for machine accounts
Hi all,
I have exactly the same problem as the OP and tried the solution below, but
I still get the error:
'Username IUCNNL\PC050$ is invalid on this system'. Should I map
useraccount, enable Guest account, chang eunix directory permissions or
things like that?
Problem:
My Windows 10 computers' machine accounts cannot acces shares on a domain
member (samba 4.6 , id map = ad, centos

Using the object of character data type as the name of the slot
Dear all,
I have a character string object:
> chara
[1] "The name of first slot"
and a list object:
> class( try1)
[1] "list"
what I want to do is to use the chara as a slot's name of "try1".
Of course I could do it like:
> try1$"The name of first slot" <- matrix("", 3, 4)
to create a slot of 3x4 matrix with the name

Open3 progress
...modes work for popen3
on Win32. Any help or docs in that area appreciated. :)
Also, I have a feeling the RubyCreateProcess() function could be stripped
even further since we''re not supporting Win9x or ME, but I''m a little too
nervous to do any more for now. If anyone has any suggesions for what we
can chop out of there, please let me know (or make changes and commit). :)
I''d like to have a release out this weekend if possible.

send a list from R to C
Hello at all !
What is the correct form to give a list form R (e.g. list(c(-1,1),
"TestFile") ) to C. I have no problems, if I don't use character and I have
also no problems to give a character vector form R to C. But, if I combine
real and strings in a list then I don't know the correct syntax.
I try it with following (an example):
SEXP writeFile(SEXP headerR){
