Hide dot files not working
...hide dot files option doesn't appear to work
I have a hunch this is because the initial directory listing is
perhaps done as superuser. Under digital unix ls is the same as ls
-a.
Anyone come across this before or have any solutions?
We are running version 1_9_18p7

Unix/NT file conversion problems
...binary for some reason even though they are just plain
text files. This means (when going from unix to pc) the files come down
without a carriage return at the end of lines. And when going from pc to
unix they end up with ^M on the end of each line. Anyone have any
ideas?

G'Day everyone,
We are new to SAMBA and are having problems with initial configuration of SAMBA Version 1.9.18 on DigitalUnix 4.0B on a Digital AlphaServer 4100.
If anyone can help us, we would be greatly appreciative.
The installation and compilation all went OK.

SAMBA PROBLEM ON LINUX

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but I am using
Redhat 6.2 Linux and Samba 2.2.1a. We have Windows NT Workstations and 2000
