...box last night after coming from Whitebox - This is perhaps me being stupid but on install i opted for 'Custom' install as i prefer minimal and then build as i suit. I went through the list of things to install and removed everything apart from networking. Install happenned and tons of stull ended up being installed including X openoffice and the like - Why was that when i de-selected everything apart from networking? It was very much bloatware and not what i want on a server. thanks for any hints

Does anyone know if this phone can or does work with Asterisk ? I have a potential client who wants to throw away their current mitel ip system (keeps crashing on a regular basis - not good for a phone-based company), but are reluctant to purchase new handsets. Thanks. Julian.

Hello,     I'm never certain if it's best to stop samba when running a fix or check on the DB. Is there a rule of thumb for this? In a multi DC environment is it best to run on one DC and have it replicate the fixes? I never find this to be the case BTW or I may not be waiting long enough. Thanks. -- -- James

I copied exactly where Axel provided into atrmps.repo. Everything works fine but when I try to umount the device and remount it in degraded mode, the data still goes into both the disk. ideally in degraded mode only one disk show disk activity and not the failed ones.
