Burning DVD with upgrade of cdrtools for cdrecord
I am having problems burning DVD's from commandline. I was wondering if
anyone else has had any luck using cdrecord-2.01 and cdrtools that is
supposed to add DVD support? Thanks!

Hi,
I have a server that has been running Centos for about a year but
I have not checked to see if there have been any changes to update.
Has there been any updates or fixes for the update? I have not been in

Using an lapply statement, as in:

The goal would be to report on the progress of the lapply() function during processing.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Difficulty with 'loess' function

I tried messing around with other ways of inputting the data and I was

like that.
I read up on:

Does anyone have any suggestions to offer?
Thanks.

Don't understand write.csv default: Why is column name for column of row names blank?
...so they can have a column name
too, and then suppress the row names in the write.csv.
What am I missing? Is there an easy way to fill this blank field with a
useful name for a database key when using write.csv defaults?
Thanks for any insight on this.

[FORGED] Re: identical() versus sapply()
Use all.equal instead of identical if you want to gloss over
integer/numeric class differences and minor floating point differences (and
a host of others).

There exist a FCS package on R-languaje?
Hi all, excuse me by this elementary question. I wish to know if a
package in language R exists to analyze FCS (Fluorescence Correlation
Spectroscopy) datas. And, if it possible, in addition can read the
archives in raw format generated by the ConfoCor2 program.
Thanks Horacio.

should `data` respect default.stringsAsFactors()?
Hiya,
Probably been debated elsewhere....
I note that R's `data` function does not respect default.stringsAsFactors
By my lights, it should, especially as it is documented to call read.table, which DOES respect.
Oh, but: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/stringsAsFactors-FALSE-tp921891p921893.html
Compelling. I have to agree.
So, I change my mind.
By my lights, `data` should then be

where they use pearson's correlation for hierarchical clustering.
Any idea if anything is violated in case pearson's correlation is used with
