I'd be willing to change the iPhone mail reader for sure, the Apple one kinda sucks overall, especially for sorting and such. ...only with +2MB files... I have already tried the same on an internal samba server (100 Mbit) without OpenVPN, this works in Vista and XP. Any suggestions or hints on how to troubleshoot this? bristuff hangup issue
...has been posted a while ago by Marcel van der Boom (in libpri/q931.c), this works. According to the release notes this should have been applied to the latest bristuff, but be careful, the problem still exists on bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q. I have emailed junghanns.net to let them know. Best regards, stoffell

Migrating from qmail server, invalid option "o" in dsync

Do pop3 and imap overlap somehow, or Justin> does the server use IMAP internally regardless of the client Justin> protocol settings? No, IMAP and POP are just the transport mechanisms. But POP is old and doesn't keep state well. If you can, upgrade all your clients to IMAP,

dovecot: auth: Error: DNS lookup for xxx failed: Name does not resolve
I am sure resolving works fine. I tested this in a running mesos container, but also in docker run[1]. I need to have the search local option in resolve.conf. It was actually working, until I started adding the proxy for managesieve, but when I reverted, it still does not work. I think the building from cache mislead me. I suspect this is a different problem, that at some point is giving

Fwd: Load balancer for dovecot servers - Not able to send emails
Hi John, Thank you for the reply. Actually it was setup like this by another member, who left the team/company recently. Now it came to me to handle that responsibility. That's how I got in to this. At present I am not able to migrate/upgrade immediately. Because it sends emails around 100K+ emails everyday and I do not want to disturb that. Coming back to your question, Actually the

Migrating from qmail server, invalid option "o" in dsync
I'll give this a shot. Any solution that doesn't maintain at least the current client-side status of emails (ie, requires redownload, or new account on client) is a complete nonstarter, though. It looks like it's an Apple Mail client bug/feature/screwup. I hate it, since it messes up my main text based mail reader doing IMAP. Maybe I need to move to Mutt finally. Ugh...

...I doubt it's the firmware if it is happening on two completely different phones.
