R source issue "sarge" or "stable"
...CRAN/bin/linux/debian/stable/
|
| But there are references to "sarge" as a directory name.
|
| Is there a way that I can modify my sources.list to account for this
| discrepancy, or is the problem with the mirrors not being updated
| completely?
This mirror is maintained by Christian Steigies to whom I forward this. I
only use testing/unstable myself and cannot help you with this. But for
broader exposure, I'll CC the r-sig-debian list where someone may have the
pertinent pointer.
Best regards, Dirk

[OT] R 1.5 for debian woody
Hi everybody.
I know, I'm too lazy, but I was wondering when the binary for Linux/Debian
Woody will be available. I could find only the version for unstable (Sid).
TIA,
Stefano

Compiling R packages on Ubuntu
I am unable to compile R packages from source on Ubuntu
dapper/edgy. Does anybody have an experience?
When I do install.packages("nlme",depend=TRUE), I get following error messages. Can someone help?
I get similar messages for any package I try to compile.
