Asterisk 1.62.13 - CPU spikes every 10 minutes
Hi,
I've been getting regular CPU usage spikes(50%-80%), due to asterisk
(according to top). I never noticed this on 1.4, and I have top running in
the background pretty much all the time. In between those spikes Asterisk
stays under 10% CPU usage (I have a transcoder card, which helps).
It's very regular, never any missed spike, or any spike in between the
regular spikes. I

DAHDI-linux 2.7 compile error with CONFIG_DAHDI_NET enabled
Not sure how I should officially report this, but I'm getting a compile
error with DAHDI-linux 2.7 when I define CONFIG_DAHDI_NET in
include/dahdi/dahdi_config.h. I am able to compile successfully when I
leave it undefined, but I need to be able to use the network support.

Request for testing: New wctdm24xxp and wcte12xp drivers.
...few extra milliseconds of latency, allow the two
boards to peacefully coexist on the same IRQ.
Please feel free to checkout the code on any test servers you may have
and let me know any results. Both the good and the bad are welcome.
To get the code:

B410P - BRI NT 100 Ohm terminator
Hi,
My set up is :
Asterisk with B410P in NT mode <-------------cat5 straight cable
----------------> Another PBX in TE mode
Is the 100 Ohm terminator you can find on B410P boards, necessary when
connecting in NT mode to another PBX (set in TE mode) ?
Cheers

Best place to issue tickets for Digium phones ?
Hello,
I've recently given a try to a Digium D70 phone.
At the moment, I'm configuring them though config files with a DHCP server
and not using DPMA.
Of course, I'm connecting them to Asteris (PJSIP stack on 13.7.0).
Which is the best place to:
- read about past issues
- open new tickets for remaining issues.
Best regards

Digium HA8. Does settings order matters (in system.conf) ?
Hi,
I'm reading Digium HA8 manual (page 55).
It lists several parameters that can be used to configure a BRI port.
More precisely, it suggests that :
Term, is the last parameter
NT/TE is the one just before (starting from the end).
If I'm not mistaken, it seems dahdi_genconf generates /etc/dahdi/system.conf
files in which both parameters order is reversed :
# Span 1: WCBRI/0/0

minimum card for dahdi timing source ?
Hi All,
for a vicidial server which uses only voip,
which is the minimum telephony card which would provide the required clock timing source for conferences to work properly ?
Maybe the Digium TDM410PLF card
without any daughter card
would do the job ?
Thank you very much for supporting.
Have a nice week-end,

MeetMe() and dahdi_dummy on an embedded system
I'm playing around with an ALIX 2D2 board (http://www.pcengines.ch/alix2d2.htm). It's a fanless, x86 system using an AMD Geode processor with 256MB of RAM. Also available are two network interfaces, two USB ports and one serial port (no keyboard or VGA). I'm using the Voyage Linux distro, which basically is Debian Lenny optimized for this board.

could have.
Side testing zaptel 1.4.10 on a simpler system, an HP Proliant ML110 (nearly
a PC), the error does not show up as well.
I checked the zaptel 1.4.10 ChangeLog and there are some changes which

Are other phones off the TDM410P (other than the VTECH) working, or is the
Vtech the only model with VMWI available to you.

On a Lenny system, with dahdi 2.4.0, libpri 1.4.11.5 and asterisk 1.6.1.18,

TE820 hardware detection
I just installed a TE820 octal span T1 card, and it's not showing up in dahdi_hardware output. This was installed into a test machine that already has a TDM800P card in it, and that one is showing up and working fine. Is there some kernel module that I'm missing?

PRI Problem
I am having a problem with a new PRI turn-up on dahdi 2.5.0 and
asterisk 1.8.5 that I have not seen before. The PRI is setup as B8ZS,

I am getting the following errors over and over again
