has ANYONE got this run? i'm trying it for month now. installation works perfect until the installer want's to create the "desktop icons". this happens on the very end of the setup process so i kill the installer. after doing a wine Sonique.exe ALWAYS comes an error box "corrupt data!" any help? thx

I always use WaveLab and the radium codec to encode my sets and enable the ISO compatibility option at all times. This problem only seemed to come about with winamp 2.7 but if sonique is doing it to, I don't know... What about relaying? Do streams get dropped in a similar manner in relay setup? If so then it would be network code or the network itself related. All of my test were done over the lan or locally on the same box using a duplicate instance of winamp to tune into...

So the winamp client suffers from interruptions constantly. xmms and Sonique latest versions work fine against the same servers. I've searched the archives on xiph and elsewhere in hopes of finding an answer on whether song titles will work. There seems to be no definitive answer. use_meta_data 1 DOES work for WinAmp 2.75 but nothing else I've tried (which includes the latest WinAmp and Sonique). Also, I can get some header by telnetting into my port (see below) but still the "meta_data" issue remains a mystery.
