Hi, I was planning to take a look at a little game I found called Star Sonata. I'm very new to Linux and I am running Ubuntu 10.10 with Wine 1.2.1. I looked up the game on winehq (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=13183) and it is listed as Gold and runs. Well I'm not sure exactly if this fixed it, but when I was doing some audio stuff I switch my wine from OSS back to ALSA and now Star Sonata works just fine. Another game I had which crashed in windowed mode but worked in fullscreen now also works just fine in windowed mode. So this is all good now.
