padawan seeks advice from jedi masters to create toggle box via ajax/rjs before slitting wrists with ruby powered light-saber.
I AM TRYING TO MAKE A DAMN TOGGLE BOX, BUT USING MY OWN GRAPHIC AND HAVING
THE MOUSECLICK TRIGGER BOTH SWITCHING THE GRAPHIC (via AJAX) AND SAVING THE
STATE IN THE DATABASE.
I GOT IT ALL WORKING WITH NORMAL HTML GET CALLS TO THE SERVER, BUT I NEED IT
TO BE AJAXIFIED SO THAT THE PAGE DOESN''T RELOAD.

Shorewall blacklist does all
Hello,
I''m a very happy user of shorewall but I have found a problem
or maybe a misconfiguration I made which I can not resolve.
I use a fairly large blacklist based on probes, nimda & codered
attacks, proxy & relay probes etc.
The only problem is that I want to block incoming trafic on
all ports FROM a block but it does also block a httpd, ping
etc TO a ip in a block what I do

script.aculo.us V1.5_pre1 released
...a try!
Important new stuff (since V1.1b1):
* Added a main scriptaculous.js file to load in the other libraries
transparently.
* Fixed a condition where standard a href=xxx links wouldn''t work in
autocomplete results. These do now, the onclick event is not
cancelled. [thx to Jasper Slits]
* Added dropOnEmpty option to Sortables to allow dropping on empty lists
* Added util.js which contains various utlity functions and
extensions to Prototype (note some of this might be included with the
next Prototype version, so don''t rely on any stuff in util.js for now)
* Allow to...

[PATCH] 0/7 xen: Add basic NUMA support
The patchset will add basic NUMA support to Xen (hypervisor only). We
borrowed from Linux support for NUMA SRAT table parsing, discontiguous
memory tracking (mem chunks), and cpu support (node_to_cpumask etc).
The hypervisor parses the SRAT tables and constructs mappings for each
node such as node to cpu mappings and memory range to node mappings.
Using this information, we also modified the

Please apply unstable changeset 14220 to 3.0.4...
I have just spent half a day at Sun debugging a 3.0.4 boot problem,
which turns out to be fixed by unstable changeset 14220 (but I only
discovered that after I had figured out what the "fix" was).
Attached is a copy of "hg export 14220", which applies cleanly to 3.0.4
testing.
I don''t think I need a "signed off" on this, as it''s a patch by Keir

configuration updates
I just pushed out a large set of configuration updates that I've been
working on for the last couple of days.
A major difference from before is that the action options have now been
slit up into key, button, edge and bell options. Action options still
exist but they can only be triggered through dbus or a similar
mechanism.
It's very convenient to have every option type easily

[BUG] Problem Booting Xen 4.0.1 on 2.6.32.26/27
Hello,
I''m attempting to boot Xen 4.0.1 on a SuperMicro H8DGi-F motherboard and
having not much luck. I can boot the
2.6.32.26 (or .27) kernels alone, but when I add Xen into the mix, I get
consistent boot failure.
I''ve tried Xen 4.0.1-release, 4.0.2-rc1-pre and 4.0.2-rc2-pre, all get
the same failure.
xen/next-2.6.37 works and boots great, but since netback isn''t

Hi,
I''ve not tried pv_ops for a long time but just got a new system
(Supermicro X9DRL-iF) so decided to try 3.5.0 with the latest Xen
4.2-unstable, unfortunately the system crashes immediately after
loading dom0:

I''ve tried loading both bzImage and vmlinuz (gzip compressed vmlinuz)

SHA256 password patch
Hi,
I made a patch against branch-1.0 for SHA256 password hashing support
for Dovecot.
Courier Authlib supports this hashing scheme and in order to migrate
from Courier to Dovecot, I've added SHA256 support to Dovecot.
The attached patch is based on BSD licensed code from Olivier Gay
(http://www.ouah.org/ogay/sha2/).
Changes made by me in Olivier's sha2{.h,.c} code:

Metadata additions
With this mail I would like to make a proposal to add additional informations
to the core and plugin metadata files. Currently these tags are already
handled in the ccs configuration system. Ccs automatically adds this
informations to the core/plugin option set, but I think that it would make
more sense to add this to the official files, to allow similar features in
other configuration

[PATCH 0/2] rename icat API as download_inode
"icat" name comes from the employed command line tool which might be replaced later on with a different implementation.
The command name is a bit confusing because it's similar to "cat" but act as "donwload". Therefore I am renaming it with a more clear name.
At the same time I cleaned up a bit the code and improved it's readability and code comments.

X86_64 and 4GB RAM using Flat Memory Model?
Hello,
I have an odd problem on a dual processor, dual core Opteron system.
Obviosously it is x86_64 so should have no problem with large amounts of
RAM. The system has 4 GB installed (2GB on each processor).
If I boot the system with a fresh install of Debian Etch it sees all the memory
fine. dmesg reports:
Memory: 4107008k/5242880k available (1929k kernel code, 86836k
reserved, 864k data, 176k

3.0.4 ACPI support and Opteron 2210 ?
Hello,
I originally posted this to xen-users, but someone suggested I post it here.
I am having ACPI problems on a PenguinComputing Altus1600 system.
It has 2x dual core Opteron 2210 processors.
The system boots with a standard Debian or Ubuntu SMP kernel, with ACPI
enabled. However the xen live cd, binary xen install, as well as my own custom
compile of xen 3.0.4 from source will not boot.
