TE411P Really Bad Echo
I just implemented a system using a TE411P hardware echo cancellation
card. Per Digium, I setup zaptel.conf, and zapata.conf the same way as
I always have. To my surprise calls out to the PSTN had a terrible
echo. 1 - 2 second delay, and quite clear. The echo was so bad that I
had to remove the hardware echo cancellation module from the card. We
are only using the 1st span of this card right

Successfully Installed Sea Dogs v1 Game - Need Help with DDRAW error.

In winecfg, the game is set to play under Window$98 and I only have sound on
and music disabled.

Could you use some help with Samba on AIX ?
...IBM AIX optimized version 5 'C' compiler but I do have the older versions if needed. I am not at this time using any GNU compilers for AIX.

included in "admin users=..." list. Ordinary user didn't see it, even it is
owner.
3. Mostly ugly bug - user home directory disappearing, when
smb.conf.<username> exists and included in smb.conf! So, when file (i.e
shelton is username) smb.conf.shelton exists and has any content (even zero
size) I cannot see share 'shelton' in shares list. Using per-user
configuration file is valuable part of configuration and cannot be replaced

Goodness-of-fit on Burr distributed data
...ate a uniform data and then transformed into Burr(1,3,1) data,
which is of pdf:
f(x)=[3*(x^2)] / [(1+x^3)^2], x>0
How can I perform a goodness-of-fit test (k-s,
anderson-darling,chisq,cramer-von mises,...) on it (should highly accept)
to get test-statistics & p-values?

openvz resources
Anyone here running asterisk on openvz, if so what are your experiences?
Right now we are trying to tune out the resources for the difference VEs,
but not with a whole lot of luck. Just wondering if someone watching could
shed some like on what has worked for them, and how many exts/simultaneous
calls etc are happening.

Samba HOME Share
OK, the problem I am having here is that I have setup winbind, and Kerberos
on my Red Hat Linux box to talk to the AD server for user authentication and
everything works fine, I can even telnet into the Linux box using the AD
account and password and so forth. But when it comes time for me connect to
the Linux box from Windows workstation it gives me permission denied msg.

Directory too difficult?
I have a group of users whos complaint about Asterisk is that the directory
application is too hard too use. (yeah, yeah, I know. For the record,
they're Calgarians) Now I'm in a pickle: I don't want to have to create a
custom directory for these guys. Anyone have any tips for making the
directory easier, maybe re-record the prompts so they are more verbose? We
go by first name.

So, I tried to nest a for loop within another(code
below). It solved the problem of selecting each data file. However, a
problem was incurred with the second loop. It gave back a crazy matrix.

PCI-X Sata Raid Controller
Does anyone have any suggested PCI-X Sata Raid Controllers which are
natively supported in Centos 4.3, the 2.6 kernel. I guess either
with the new megaraid or aacraid drivers?
