It's a question of getting the compiler environment setup to do the port. Much of libshout and ices2 are ready but, certain things like live input are different from whats in windows. karl.

Questions on ANI
I set up the Asterisk for my company which is a business center, I will assign a specific telephone number to my client that uses my serivces. All of their incoming calls will be first picked up by the receiptionist, can I disply the company name instead of the called number on my receptionist's telephone display, so that she can answer the call with the right identity at once... win32-service cvs - potential issue with Service.services
Hi all, I''m preparing win32-service for an 0.5.1 release. I''ve made a couple minor changes and altered the test suite a bit. It passes on my box here, except that about half the time I get this error: 1) Error: test_services(TC_Win32Service): Win32::ServiceError: OpenService() call failed: The handle is invalid. test/tc_service.rb:227:in `services''

cluster suite & gfs problem since update
I have a cluster that has been operational for some time and functioning flawlessly until a recent yum update. The last unflawed working kernel was 2.6.9-55.0.12.ELsmp. The current kernel is 2.6.9-67ELsmp. The problem appears to be some type of infinite recovery loop of sorts. It runs find for a few minutes, then the service restarts itself. What I am seeing in /var/log/messages is: Jan 3

Do you have a file /etc/sssd/sssd.conf? IIRC you said you don't have such a file, which is fine. Do you have any file in /etc/sssd/conf.d/? This directory should be empty but it's possible that another package pu...

What are the chances of getting ices0.3 and ices2 ported to windows as a command line app? and be able to run it as a NT serivce? Dave St John CEO Mediacast1 www.mediacast1.com - Got Bandwidth? [Interopcast-general] about translatingdocumentation, but not only documentation.
Hi all. I just joined this list but have been working with Karl H and Arc on IRC for a while on using ices/icecast in a radio studio in new york. I'm pretty involved in Linux audio and have a good superficial understanding of what's available in the Linux world for audio. To keep this thread on topic, I've mentioned to Karl H before but I guess it would be worthwile to mention here

Possible XP bug/Samba interaction
I'm posting this for the archive because I've been beating my head against the wall on this problem for a while now and wanted to have it documented for anyone else with a similar issue: Problem: Upon boot, Windows XP Professional version 2002 with Serivce pack 2, does not apply advanced TCP/IP options from the registry when connecting to window shares. asterisk + web services
List, We're working on an upcoming job that may require us to access a web service (WS). I'm curious to hear peoples thoughts on the best way to do this with asterisk. We'll be submitting a single number to the WS and it will return a success or error. One solution would be to write a simple perl script to interface into to the WS, and use SYSTEM() from asterisk to call it.

RHEL3 --> CentOS3 HP proliant 380
Hi, I've got a HP 380 G2 which is running RHEL AS 3 Taroon update 1. The current smp kernel 2.4.21-9smp is booting with a HPinitrd image. Mostlikely generated with the HP proliant Service Pack for RHEL 3. Now if I migrate this system to CentOS 3 and a new kernel will be installed ,will that work ? Does the new centOS kernel use the same config as the current RHEL kernel ? Anyone done this
