[LLVMdev] Case in Case optimisation: worthwhile?
...ou think this optimisation is nice to implement in LLVM, then I am not the only one benefitting from it, or should I apply it on the intermediate language in the back end. 2) If I want to implement this in LLVM, can somebody give me pointers to the source files to start with? Thanks! -- John van Schie

How to find a netbios name
...tware knows about both worlds, I was wondering if there is a way to use it for that purpose. 'smbclient -I w.x.y.z' still needs a service name and 'nmblookup' goes from name to number (and I want it the other way around). Is it impossible or did I just mis some trick ? TIA, Ard van Schie

code-metrics for ruby (on rails)
I''m searching for code analysing tools for Ruby (on Rails). I know some tools for Java and DotNet but I can''t seem to find much for Ruby. Things I''m interested in are metrics like coupling (fan-in, fan-out), complexity (McCabe), inheritance nesting levels etc. The only tools I found so far are saikuro(only mccabe) and kwala (seems like a frontend for saikuro) If you
