How can I disable the roaming profiles that are stored on the server? I'm running samba2.2.3a with about 40 clients consisting of Win98 & W2k machines. My Linux disk keeps running out of space and I don't really need the profiles to be duplicated on the server. I've commented the logon path line in smb.conf and tried 'logon path = ""'. It didn't seem to work.

Hi, after upgrading our storage server from samba2.0.5? to samba2.2.3a we are no longer able to start applications installed on samba shares. We get no real error messages, so I can't search for them. Has anyone any good idea how to solve the problem ? Hello Altaf, You can now pull swdepot of Samba 2.2.3a WITH winbind from the samba ftp site - this is swinstallable and so you will not need to compile - it already has winbind built.
