boxplot, vertical position of x-axis labels
...out how to change the vertical position of my x axis labels..
boxplot(c(1:12)~c(rep("1",6),rep("2",6)),at=c(1,2),
col=c(0,"grey"),las=1,xaxt="n")
### i put paragraphs in the x-labels because of limited horizontal space
axis(1,at=c(1,2),adj=1,labels=c("Salix
Scrub","Tall
Forb"))
...the labels are one line above usual position and cross the tickmarks and
i don't know how to get around this.

[EverNote] Can't connect to server
Hi,
i have been using EverNote http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=2566 on debian sid x64 with no problems:installation and running was without any problems.
But because of some troubles with my install of debian 64, i changed to Salix 32. But now I can't use EverNote. Install is OK, but when I try to login, its says: Can't connect to server.
I have tried more different installers [3.0, 3.1], but no change, still the same error with connecting to server.
Any idea what could be the problem?
My wine is: 1.2
Thanks!

where to swap
...-4.xx' branch.
Considering the following facts:
_ the above two patches have more (potential) impact on older computers
(than on newer ones);
_ the 'syslinux-4.xx' branch is being used by many active (Linux)
distributions, such as Slackware, SUSE, RHEL and their derivatives
(e.g. Salix, OpenSUSE, Centos, Oracle, Scientific...) among many
others;
I would like to request for the aforementioned two patches to be also
applied
to the 'syslinux-4.xx' branch in the official Syslinux git
repositories.
TIA,
Ady.

Centos 6.3 - which repos to use?
I've just installed v6.3 as a desktop (from
Centos-6.3-i386-LiveCD.iso) and to get the hang of the Centos approach
and then hope to move on to a server. I've been using linux *buntu for
5 years.
Hope i don't sound like a nit but i've got a little confused with the
repos. Hoping someone would be kind enough just to clarify. This
installation is for stability whilst installing the
