Attempting to install samba
...n the same subnet. My clients are on a different subnet. My client can see kirk in the network neighborhood, but when accessed it returns "\\kirk is not accessible The network path was not found." I am not sure what other info I need to provide. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rod.

cant rename directories on NT
Everything is working perfect on win95 but from NT4: I can create, delete and rename files I can create and delete directories Problem: I can't rename created directories from the NT4 workstations on the network. And this is a big problem since NT4 creates a "New Folder" and asks you to type in the name you want. I have a 2.0.6 distribution on a SGI Origin200 Irix6.4 server. I

Self heal problem

Cisco 7940 - Disappearing Clock - SOLVED
...s didn't help. I eventually setup a new ntp server on my LAN, and used it as a sync source. Everything seems OK now. Obviously a problem with my other ntp server. Illegal filename characters

Best phone for easy provisioning
...central provisioning? I've used CISCO 79XX phones, and they're great (but too expensive). I like Grandstream phones, but their provisioning sucks. Configuring Samba
...resolve names. Both are resolvable. They use FTP between the 2 just fine. I have other clients that, when they attempt to use the server, get access denied from this station. The main reason for using Samba is for the client that cannot get to the server. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, Rod.

ztcfg server crash
...me (can vary), If I stop asterisk and try to run ztcfg -v to reinitialise my quad e1 card, the server will lock up. Outbound Caller ID on PRI
We have just had an ISDN PRI service commissioned here in AU (using Powertel as provider). I have called them and ensured that we have the ability to set Caller ID on our service to any number in our 100 number block, and I have been assured that everything is OK from their end (unlikely). Wrong caller id in CDR
...CSV and MySQL) are being written with the wrong callerid. As best as I can determine, they are being written with the CLID of the _last_ caller to access the specific ZAP channel in question, not the current one.
