win3.1 in wine & suse8.1
...any other \WINDOWS\ files to wine /fake.../ directory?
Even though `setupwine saw the two fat16 partitions it assigned win95
file formats rather than fat16.
I left the win95 - was I correct? [could be immaterial if D:\ & E:\ do
not stay]
Am I correct in assuming that I do not have to delete/resetup wine after
an update with rpm?
Thanks,
Serge

2.2.8a and printers
I recent upgraded to 2.2.8, which went fine. When I checked smbclient -L
firewall, I saw I Lost my printer share.
I am using CUPS v1.1.3 for printing. When I went back to 2.2.7a it
reappeared. 2 questions:
1> Why did it do this? I ./configured it --enable-cups- --with-pam_(smb)
2> Is there and advantage of upgrading such a small step? Or are there a big
enough issues to warrant this

problem with logon and outlook
I had a problem logging on to the network, it was not getting my roaming
profile, so I created a new logon and copied all of the information from the
old profile directory to the new login profile directory. I logged on and
everything seemed okay, it's like loggin on to the machine for the first
time. When I start up MS Outlook my email account is not there, it asks me
to setup a new

UK Samba Consultant Required
Hi All,
I would like to migrate a 10 user NT4 Domain to a new Samba server.
I have had a practice run but am struggling to make the (mostly) XP
machines login to the new server without creating a new profile. I am
sure that I migrated the SID but obviously I didn't get something right!
Are there any consultants out there who might be able to help me through
this process and teach me a

Need help with a pika warp asterisk appliance problem.
I've tried the forums at pikawarp.org and it seems no one is there anymore.
Is there someone here that can help.
last week I decided it was time to upgrade the rom on the machine to try
to get the newest freepbx.
so I followed the instructions to upgrade. I resetup the extensions and
all the other setting like it was before. I did this over the network
so I go onsite to double check that it is working correctly. It isn't

Problems with 2.3TB disk
Hi Guys,
I have a server running CentOS 4.2 with a 2.6.9-22EL-smp kernel.
The system contains a 2.3 TB RAID 5 array. There is a 20GB root partition
with the remainder of the drive configured one large LVM volume. (/u0)
I have installed Veritas Netbackup on the server and am running a few
tests. Small backups and restores work just fine.
When I run a larger backup (500MB) and store the

Group Members and usersidlist problem
I have been setting up samba 3.0.20b on Solaris 9 with a Sun Java System
Directory Server v5.2 and have hit a couple of problems.
The first is that if I run the command
/net rpc group MEMBERS Staff -U administrator
after prompting for the password it just gives the result of a blank line.
Looking through the ldap logs it appears that samba finds the correct group
mapping but then looks up the

I suspect this is related to ssh keys, please let us know if resetup
with above mentioned steps helps.
