memory map issues with PV PCI passthrough
I have a system with several reserved ranges low in the e820 map which cause problems when starting PV domains with PCI devices. Reserved/Unallocatable Registers
Lately I have had a few discussions of what it means for a register to be unallocatable or reserved. As this comes up every now and again and I often struggled answering such questions I decided to write down some definite rules and codify the current usage and assumptions. I plan to put the rules below into the doxygen comments of MachineRegisterInfo etc. And I also hope that people will correct

We have been using bytes_reserved for metadata reservations, which is wrong since we use that to keep track of outstanding reservations from the allocator. This resulted in us doing a lot of silly things to make sure we don''t allocate a bunch of metadata chunks since we never had a real view of how much space was actually in use by metadata. How to find out the default CPU / Features String for a given triple?
When I pass an empty string for cpu and features to createTargetMachine, and then use LLVMGetTargetMachineCPU() and LLVMGetTargetMachineFeatureString() to get the strings back, they are still empty. Is there a way to have llvm compute the effective cpu/features string, and provide it so that I can inspect it? I'm trying to figure out how the cpu/features string that I am explicitly passing,

EXT3 Reserve Space
Hi All, Whenever an EXT3 partition is created some space is reserved for super-user, I used the mkfs.ext3 with option -m set to 0, but there is no effect it still reserve the space.
