lustre+samba
Dear All,
I try to use our cluster though samba share. Everything work fine, but
I think, we should have -o flock at lustre mount time.
Great, it''s work. But when I want to save a file on the share, I get
this on the logs:

Dear Ren Yongjie
Hi Yongjie,
I have just compiled and installed Xen 4.3-unstable changeset 26666 and
Linux kernel 3.8.1, according to your specifications. However, I still
cannot get success with Intel HD Graphics 4600 IGD VGA passthrough.
Although in Device Manager in Windows 7 HVM domU, it says "This device
is working properly" for Intel HD Graphics 4600, I can only get 16
colors. Please refer to

ilbc and asterisk 1.0.3 - strange noises.
Have someone experienced any strange noises using the ilbc codec
after upgrading to asterisk 1.0.3?
I had to change the codec do gsm to fix this problem. The noise is very
loud, like saturation of the echo ro something, seems like the echo
cancelation is amplifying itself.
I'be been using ilbs since asterisl 0.70 and have never had any
problem like this.
Thanks.

Re:Problems in Dead Gateway Detection / Failover - MultipleISP Links
Hi There,
I am also trying to do the same for my network.
I have two links from different ISPs and I want to configure a failover and
load balancing Linux router.
I am facing same problem here, that how to detect link failure and let Linux
box switch the gateway.
I know it works when the first gateway is physically down and not reachable.
But what to do if my link is up but there is problem

Postfix and Dovecot LDA vs. LMTP
Thanks Jan.
I've been trying to obtain an English copy of the Dovecot book for months,
prior to starting this project. So far, I just can't find a copy. It's too
bad that the author/publisher won't do a second printing or, if they're not
interested in making any more money, then release it to the public domain as
a PDF. Very frustrating.

Postfix and Dovecot LDA vs. LMTP
I'm new to Dovecot and will be using it with Postfix. I'm looking for
recommendations regarding the use of Dovecot's LDA or LMTP for virtual
mailbox delivery.
Many of the simple examples on the wiki use LDA. So I've set that up
initially. But apparently an advantage of LMTP is recipient verification.
So, as I understand it, LMTP would let Postfix know whether or not the

[PATCH 0/4] block: move sd_format_disk_name() into block core as disk_name_format()
This patch series renames "sd_format_disk_name()" to

Access.log
I'm using Simplecast to feed 8 mount points of a 24/7 live stream to Icecast on a win platform. When I have the Statistics Relays graphing activated, I get an entry each minute in Access.log for each of the mount points.
That particular entry is pretty much useless but of course, being able to see the IP address of client drops can be useful. This log grows to mammoth proportions unless I

pppoe question
Hi THere,
sorry if this is a stupid question or does not belong to this forum.
I''ve set my DEFROUTE=no in my ifcfg-ppp0 and when I bring the ppp0
up, it deletes my old default load balance routes which I do not want,
as I just want the interface to be up, but not touching my default
routes
any advice
Thanks

How to create Debian packages for release 3.9.0
...this step should also be changed for a specific release version
build, now the patches fail (and most likely the build as well, later
on). Where can I find the properly versioned 'debian' directory for my
specific release version build?

Will Xen 4.3 use upstream QEMU by default ?
Hi folks,
From the roadmap for Xen 4.3 development, Xen 4.3 will use upstream QEMU (partially done).
So I''d like to confirm the following questions.
1. Will Xen 4.3 really use upstream QEMU by default ?
I have the question because so far the xen.git tree still uses qemu-xen-unstable by default.
2. If ''yes'' for 1st question, which QEMU upstream will be used in Xen
