From the roadmap for Xen 4.3 development, Xen 4.3 will use upstream QEMU
(partially done).
So I''d like to confirm the following questions.
1. Will Xen 4.3 really use upstream QEMU by default ?
I have the question because so far the xen.git tree still uses
qemu-xen-unstable by default.
2. If ''yes'' for 1st question, which QEMU upstream will be used
in Xen 4.3 ?
In xen.git, upstream QEMU URL is "
git://xenbits.xen.org/qemu-upstream-unstable.git".
but, the repository of pure QEMU upstream is "
git://git.qemu.org/qemu.git".

Is there a Xen related feature which works fine with qemu-upstream-unstable.git tree but doesn''t work with qemu.git tree? I found qemu-upstream-unstable.git tree was based on QEMU 1.3.0 release and only added several bug fix commits after 1.3.0 release.

We''re doing some regular testing for upstream Xen on Intel hardware. We''ll test xen.git with qemu.git tree by default, while in Xen 4.3 release cycle we''ll test Xen 4.3 with qemu-upstream-unstable.git tree.

FWIW I would also like to add --disable-qemu-traditional at the same time. Of course if someone was to beat me to it I''d be very pleased to review a patch instead of writing it (especially given that autoconf is involved ;-)) Ian.
