Scalability with high density servers and proxies, TCP port limits
Hello,
first post in 3 years, kinda shows how painless Dovecot is. ^o^
Also this isn't really a dovecot issue, alas it's involved and since there
are some large scale implementations of it I hope somebody here has some
insights I might have missed.
Currently we're running this setup:
1. LVS (DR mode) in a HA configuration (2 node cluster)
2. Dovecot in proxy mode on a 2 node

Tabulating
Hello,
I wonder if someone could send me suggestions on how to solve the following problem:
I have a vector of an arbitrary size (ex. data<-c(10,10,11,10,12,11,10,12,11,11,10,11)) and use the table function, which gives the following result
10 11 12
5 5 2
that''s fine, but what I would like to do now is:
construct new classes based on the number of classes from table, 10

If my evil plan works out, within the next 10 or so patches we should be
in a place where pushing everything up goes pretty quickly. It's about
8 TableGen patches and then a

survval analysis microarray expression data
For any given pre-specified gene or short list of genes, yes the Cox
model works fine. Two important caveats:
1. Remeber the rule of thumb for a Cox model of 20 events per variable
(not n=20). Many microarray studies will have very marginal sample
size.
2. If you are looking at many genes then a completely different strategy
is required. There is a large and growing literature; I like Newton

wine : command not found
I downloaded this file
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/ALPHA/wine/development/Wine-20010510.tar.gz
(it's the source code). Then I unpacked it as root and then I went into the
"/root/wine-20010510"-directory. Then I typed ./tools/wineinstall (or
something like that). And then it startet installing. When it was finished i
edited my ~/.wine/config so that it would not automaticly

Tunneling in capistrano twice
Hi there,
The default recipe expects you to be able to access your web server
directly from your local machine.
On our web server, for security purposes, it is only possible to ssh
to it through one particular ip (which is also a remote machine.)
The capistrano source is so compact and tidy it looks very hackable.
But rather than messing around I thought I''d ask first if anyone else

Season Greetings to all
Tom, in your faq, u have this noted:
While I am currently using the HTB version of The Wonder Shaper (I just
copied wshaper.htb to /etc/shorewall/tcstart and modified it as shown in
the Wondershaper README),
I treid this with wondershaper, using Bearing Leaf 1.0 stable
i even changed the tc command to run_tc, and tried it in both angles,
and i receive the following..

Dovecot doesn't listen on port 143, 993 in SSL
Dear Dovecot Team
First of all, I always appreciated your contribution & effort.
Dovecot is very good tool for me for a while since my 2 years Linux start.
But,
3 days ago, I upgraded my ubuntu 15.04 to 15.10
Then, I realized that my dovecot mail sever didn't work. So I simply
terminated all the packages and reinstall it.
It means I can't remeber what my previous setting was in my

Kerberos case sensitive with Mac OS X on Samba 3.0.x
Hi List,
I'm having an issue between Samba and OS X with regards to Kerberos authentication to a Samba AD member server.
I'm using local UNIX accounts and entries in the passdb instead of Windind on the samba server, ie create account by adding
to /etc/passwd then smbpasswd -a username. From an OS X client system if I obtain a ticket for user "UserA" like

Good. I am also trying to sending a patch to llvm-commits.
It'd be better for me to use [AVX] prefix in the subject so that we
can easily identify "This is an AVX

NT4 style domain support
Hi all,
it seems that "NT4 style domain support" in windows 10 1803 is
broken by accident. Read

Could you please remind me which function should I type?

getwinegit.sh 0.32 released!
One more Version! It's time to test this script until it is one of the
last versions. I don't want to spend more time into this so I desided
to soonly quit this project. Here the Changes since 0.31:
0.32 No Changes to Functitonality, but cool stuff :)
- Better Trap-handling
- Nicer Sleeper-function (I love it)
- No output to the shell but only the ones by getwinegit.sh
