passing through MWI info from SBC
Hi.. I am about to replace my aging Nortel Venture
system with an Asterisk system and 6 Polycom IP 501
phones, and a couple sipura 841's for less used areas.
We have 3 phone lines here. One is SBC, one Vonage,
and one Voipjet... One hangup is that I can't figure
out how to pass through a voicemail waiting indication
from SBC. This is important because my wife and her
family all

How to extract the within group correlation structure matrix in "lme"
Dear R users,
I fitted a repeated measure model without random effects by using lme. I will use the estimates from that model as an initial estimates to do multiple imputation for missing values of the response variable in the model. I am trying to extract the within group correlation matrix or covariance matrix.
here is my code:
f = lme(y ~x0+x1+trt+tim+x1:tim +tim:trt,random=~-1|subj,

Trying to do very simple Zaptel Config. NO LUCK!
Hi,
I am trying to do the world's most simple install.
I have a Wildcard TDM400P with 3 ports: 1 FXS on port
1 and 2 FXOs on ports 3 and 4. (i'm not using port 3
for now, put want it for expansion purposes)
I simply (to start with) am looking to have the FXS
phone ring when an FX0 port is dialed. I would also
like to be able to place outgoing calls on the FXS
through the FXO. Right

How does Vonage support fax machines?
My boss is insisting we support fax, and I keep telling him that Fax over
IP is very unreliable and not recommended and his immediate come-back is
"Vonage does it." and it's very hard to figure out how.
I don't think Vonage does T.38, the Linksys/Sipura units they're using
doesn't support T.38 to my knowledge.
That means they have to be using G.711Ulaw to send faxes.

[LLVMdev] execution time of bytecode and native
Hello ,
I am compiling SPEC 2000 benchmarks with llvm .Got stuck with calculating "execution time" of all the .bc and native files.
The log for nightly test itself gives execution times but I am passing the bytecode files to my pass which gives another bytecode file.I have to calculate execution time of such bytecode and native files as well.If i simply do this:

ks.test() output interpretation
I'm using ks.test() to compare two different
measurement methods. I don't really know how to
interpret the output in the absence of critical value
table of the D statistic. I guess I could use the
p-value when available. But I also get the message
"cannot compute correct p-values with ties ..." does
it mean I can't use ks.test() for these data or I can
still use the D

hidecallerid on analog line
Is there a way to hide the callerid on analog line on
outgoing calls. Any ideas whether it could be done
through configuration, a script or hardware.
Thanks;

How does one mark all messages as read (imap4flag "seen") with sieve?
What OS/MTA are you using? Can you give me (privately if you want) a
re-hash of the LDA issues?
I'm using FreeBSD 10.3 / Exim for my set up and LMTP for ALL deliveries,
and it works great.

Asterisk server with remote monitoring capabilities
Hello, all.
I'm tired of having to drive out to the colocation
facility each time my dedicated asterisk server craps
out, just to press the button to do a hard reboot.
(I'm running 1.05 stable at present, no telephony
hardware, as this is mainly a system that receives
calls, no dial-out ability is needed.)
I've been looking at the fancy xeon-based systems
listed on ebay for a couple

GUI that supports virtual PBX's/users
A friend of mine runs a small office building, 10-15 tenants. Each have
their own company, their own thing, renting space from him. His main PBX
is getting dated and his tenants are complaining. I was telling him about
Asterisk but his main concern is he doesn't want to have to always be the
one to add/remove extensions, or change the IVR hours or whatever.
Does anybody know of a free or

Some wheird problem, Target/X86 builds okay now.
But there seems to be another problem with the Cygwin build :-

[LLVMdev] execution time of bytecode and native
Hello All,
Thanks for the reply.I can generate the reports by compiling Spec through llvm, but that couldn't resolve my problem.
I m trying to determine execution time for the bytecode and native files , which are obtained as a result of running my pass over the original bytecode .I am running these experiments on spec benchmark.
In SPEC we have command line tools such as runspec where

Whither Goest Wine?
It seems that fewer and fewer favorite programs run with wine. Stuff that ran
100% on older builds crashes out on the newer ones with elan.
There needs to be (more) regression testing. However, damage has already been
done and propagated and needs correction simply to get back to the previous
level of operability.

Vservers and shorewall
hello
I''m using the 2.6 series 5 vservers on eth1 running on
debian unstable and I wanted two of them to be used as
"proxies".
One of the proxies has 3 interfaces (well 4 if you
count the ath0 interface whose traffic I''d like to
pass through the "vproxy"); one facing the hosts''/out
interface, one facing the "dmz" where two vservers
