[Patch] reenable fifos if we get an error while fifos disabled
Hello,
while playing around with multiple fifo contexts I got fifo hangs when opening glxgears nr.3.
The reason is that in drm/linux_core/nouveau_fifo.c l.342 engine->graph.create_context() returns
-ENOMEM (I dont know why but I think this problems also appears with other errors).
But the real problem is that then nouveau_fifo alloc() returns without reenabling fifo execution,
so all fifos

CentOS 7, NSF, "feature"
In the last month, we've discovered a new, ahhhh, "feature" in the version
of the version of NFS with CentOS 7: on startup, if it cannot resolve a
given host, it dies. It does not continue on up, with all the other hosts
it's exporting to, and just log a message.
Is there a workaround, or a configuration, to change this "fail on
unresolved host" behaviour?

dovecot on wheezy, best ssl configuration ?

And since dovecot is really not affected by the poodle vulnerability, if
you can't upgrade (I believe 2.2 is in the backports repo?), probably
easiest to just reenable SSLv3...

Bug#442380: xen-utils-3.1-1: reenabled blktap support unusable
Package: xen-utils-3.1-1
Version: 3.1.0-2
Severity: normal
blktap support was re-enabled in 3.1.0-1, however the required 'tapdisk'
executable needs to be symlinked in order to actually make it usable.
For me, symlinking /usr/lib/xen-3.1-1/bin/tapdisk to /usr/sbin/tapdisk
fixed the problem, and DomU's using blktap disks would run properly.

Bug#442380: xen-utils-3.1-1: reenabled blktap support unusable
Any movement on this?
It's a pain to have to remember to re-add the symlink when setting up
a new system or upgrading xen-utils.

[PATCH] perl: tests: reenable set_path tests
guestfs_set_path now does a copy of the passed string, so bindings don't
need to take care of the lifetime of strings parameters for it.

[LLVMdev] Tailcall optimization in jit stopped working
tailcall optimization stop working in jit (lli) in revision 45527. i
guess this is because the jit is tailjmping to the wrong function
address. the following change would reenable tailcallopt in jit. But
i am pretty sure that this is not the correct fix (since i don't
really understand what is going on :). maybe evan can comment on this?

ctdb samba and winbind event problem
Hi to all,
I'm having a CTDB-Cluster with two nodes (both Ubuntu wit
Sernet-packages 4.17.4). Now I want to replace one of the nodes. The
first step was to bring a new node to the CTDB-Cluster. This time a
Debian 11 but with the same sernet-packages (4.17.4). Adding the new
node to /etc/ctdb/nodes at the end of the list. And the virtual IP to

protocol error with OpenLDAP, v3
I sort of succesfully installed samba2.2.5 with OpenLDAP 2.0.26 as a PDC on one
machine.
Alas the performance is very poor. Authentication process takes 10 Seconds pser, noticable one or two seconds per "net use d:" in the logon script.
The process which consumes all CPU cycles is slap. I tried to tune with some h
help of openLDAP mailinglist members (indices, nscd), but i didn't

ACL hide folders
After updating from 2.2.22 to 2.2.33 rsp 2.3.8 my ACLs went bust.
Below line in the global acl file hides all folders except INBOX for all
users
> * group=ALL
Next reenable certain folders, eg:
> Sent group=ALL lrwsi
This made anyone see "Sent" in 2.2.22, but no longer so in 2.2.33
Any ideas how to have it like before?
