[Pkg-xen-devel] Bug#442380: xen-utils-3.1-1: reenabled blktap support unusable
Package: xen-utils-3.1-1 Version: 3.1.0-2 Severity: normal blktap support was re-enabled in 3.1.0-1, however the required 'tapdisk' executable needs to be symlinked in order to actually make it usable. For me, symlinking /usr/lib/xen-3.1-1/bin/tapdisk to /usr/sbin/tapdisk fixed the problem, and DomU's using blktap disks would run properly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5tst-xen-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
