adding Windows client reverse dns entries
Once again, reading here and there and I am confused. I thought the W clients (both W7 and W10) reverse dns PTR records where added by the ADDC automatically. This mornings testing (nslookup of client IP addresses) is not finding clients via their IP addresses. (Forward lookups via hostname work fine.) Do we (users of samba4) need to add each W client to our dns servers? (Grated this would be a one time action...

Guys. This idea has been banging my headfor days now and I feel the need to share with you. hi, i use xapian to index a txt file, it's size is 268M. i take each line as a document, and each line has two field like 13445511 | 111115151. the recored size is 10000000. the XAPIAN_FLUSH_THRESHOLD set 1000000. it takes 1026544ms to index the file, it is more slower than lucene. How to tell if there is a transfer from CDR?
Is there any way to know if a call was transferred from reading the CDR? Any relation in fields like UNIQUEID? ADS Trouble authorizing users.
...to realm 'MYDOMAIN.LOCAL' The trouble I'm having is authorizing users. When connecting the the CentOS machine from a windows XP machine it pops up a username and password dialog. Entering in my details just pops it up again as it would if I'd entered them incorrectly. Nothing is recored in the logs on the CentOS machine (either in /var/log/messages or /var/log/samba/smbd.log) and I am unable to procced. icecast +liveice +linein
use icecast+liveice and i need to get stream from linein . Icecast work perfectly and liveice was perfectly but i can get stream only if I plug lineout from my radio box to mic on my sound card .
