Hi,
I'm having troubles with windows 2008 server with HVM on XEN. When I allocate more than one CPU to the Windows VM, windows crashes after a few minutes with a BSOD.
Other people have this problem, too.
The Exact error message (BSOD) is: (the unique lines)

Re: RE: Re: BSOD "A clock interrupt was not recevied onasecondary processor within the allocated time interval"
yes, the cause of BSOD 0x101 is that watchdog time interrupt was not received by the vcpu in a certain timeout in Windows kernel . this is taken place especially in vista kernel. Generally speaking, we have some ways to fix this, one is that we an write a programme whitch can intercept the trigger of BSOD 0x101, on the other word, we make kernel don''t care the watchdog time interrrupt.

IM integration
>From WITHIN my web app, I want the web app users to be able to send IM
messages to yahoo, msn,AOL users. The receving users are not aware of the
sender. So our web app takes the input msg from the sender (RAILs app),
then on the background sends the msg to the recevier (the recevier is
aware of the sending application id). Any response from the recevier
will then be displayed to the sender on the web app. Basically a broker
between our web user and IM users to send and receive IM messages. How
can this be done with Ruby and RAILS? thanks

NT - Not allowed from this workstation
I am the sysadmin in an office with an overabundance of Win95 machines and
a few NT 4.0 workstations. All installs went relatively easy for logon
scripts, wins, etc. I have run into a semi-serious problem with 2 of the
3 NT workstations. (All running the same service pack - 1).
When trying to make a share from one of the 2 remaining workstations, I
will recevie an error message saying that:

Server Side AEC
Hi Jean-Marc,
Regarding you points:
1) Is it ok if the audio is encoded (using Nelly Moser ASAO) and sent to the client and decoded when it is recevied so the AEC is always performed on raw PCM16 8KHZ ?
2) The audio is moved in 32ms (512 byte) chunks and the reading and writing to the AEC code will be done by separate threads at regular 32 ms intervals.
3) Occasionaly audio is

Problem with CentOS 5.3 Xen and Windows Server 2008 HVM DomU
Hi,
I have CentOS 5.3 64bit and couple of Windows Server 2008 32Bit DomU's
on it.
Problem is that I got hit with the "A clock interrupt was not recevied
on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval" Blue Screen
when trying to run with more than one CPU
When searching around I found that official XEN distribution
(development version) has some fixes for it, but

[V6 PATCH] virtio-net: send gratuitous packets when needed
As hypervior does not have the knowledge of guest network configuration, it's
better to ask guest to send gratuitous packets when needed.
Guest tests VIRTIO_NET_S_ANNOUNCE bit during config change interrupt and when it
is set, a workqueue is scheduled to send gratuitous packet through
NETDEV_NOTIFY_PEERS. This feature is negotiated through bit
VIRTIO_NET_F_GUEST_ANNOUNCE.

R and McAfee 8.5
Hi,
I have been working with R for the last year and using the UKFSST package to look at satellite tag track data and SST information. Fpr those not familiar, the package uses the positions estimated by the satellite tags themselves and the associated SST data from servers (in this case, from the University of Hawaii and the NOAA Coastwatch website) for the time preiod to estimate a reasonable

The client is the adobe flash player. No install and on 98% of all desktops but we can't change it.
It works ok if people use headphones but we need to stop the howl than can build up if more than one person in a conference has mic to close to speakers.
Any ideas?

No. The entire path from AEC to loudspeaker and from mic back to AEC
must be free of any non-linearity, codec, drift, ...
