MOH from RCA jack?
...with *, but they want to integrate a commercial message service (they pay a monthly fee to have special MOH messages generated) into their system. The messages are essentially delivered to this customer via older generation audio equipment that interfaces to their key system via a standard audio RCA jack. (We're reseaching other alternative deliver mechanisms such as mp3's, etc, from the supplier, but have to assume for now that we need to inject MOH audio into asterisk via this RCA jack.) Does anyone have a relatively high audio quanlity method of interfacing such an external audi...

frequence of patterns in a vector
Dear R users, Suppose I have a vector that consists of characters like ABC, A02, RCA, etc., and there are about 700 of possible characters. For example, x <- c("ABC", "ABC", "ABC", "A02", "ABC", "RCA", "ABC", "ABC") I'd like to get a frequency matrix that looks something like this: ABC 6 A02...

Agent Login/Logout
This may be a stupid question, but I couldn't find anything on the wiki about it or on google. I have about 5 agents in my call center. I want them to login using agentcallbacklogin. The reason being is that I don't get so many inbound calls. We mostly make outbound calls. Therefore, during the times where we don't get calls, I want my agents to manually dial out. When calls

Lyra2 Support
...I would like to get additionnal information on the tools (and agreements) needed to develop support code for additionnal file formats for the Lyra2, such as Ogg Vorbis. Thompson is big, please forward my request to adequate department. <p>(Not so ) Technical Info ======================== RCA (Thompson) uses the NEC 784036 Microcontroller on a portable MP3 player (Lyra2-rd2211). They are strong supporter of the mp3 format ( for which they hold a patent ) The audio stuff is done with a TI TMS320VC5410 DSP. The RCA player relies on external "dsp programs" to play the actual audi...

Reverse engineering USB devices
I'm pretty sure this is the wrong list, but maybe some clever people here can redirect me... I have a "RCA RS2100 Bookshelf Audio System" http://www.woot.com/blog/viewentry.aspx?id=2744 This is radio/CD/mp3 player... PLUS it can stream audio wirelessly. You plug a USB device into your PC and you can remote control what gets played from the RS2100 remote control ("Wireless Musiclink")....

Network slowdown
Hello, I''m not subscribed to this list, but would like to ask a question. When I conduct a network speed test from the following location http://www.timewarnerla.com/speedtest/speedtest.asp with firewall started I get no more than 1 Mbps at best, while without one I get 4 Mbps. I have a RCA DCM325 cable modem from RoadRunner. I''m using Shorewall 2.2.0-Beta3. My OS is SuSe 9.1 kernel 2.6.5-7.111.5-default running on Dell PowerEdge 400SC with 2.0 MHz CPU, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive. My network uses 100 MB/sec switches only. This machine has an Intel gigabit interface built-i...

FireWire in CentOS 5.3
I am being given a digital camcorder. It uses Mini DV tapes and either connects via typical RCA cables (IE to a tv) or via FireWire. I don't have the brand on hand, but I was told it can be ripped to DV like any standard FireWire camcorder (I believe dvgrab will be sufficient). I just installed an older FireWire card I have that I used at one point in Fedora for my iPod. It was a PIT...

Any IP phones with pro-audio connections?
Does anybody know of any IP phones (ideally SIP based) that have interfaces to plug into a pro audio system (eg for phone interviews). Something can probably be hacked up with a headset connector or the 1/8" jacks on a 7970 but I'm wondering if there's something better out there. Thanks, Julien

wow! and what about h/w players for vorbis files?
...however, are there any h/w players for vorbis files? the faq only states one manufacturer called iObjects but i see no portable players! Basically, i want to player vorbis files thru my car cassette stereo some how. The only method i see currently (affordable) is to use a laptop and use a mini to rca (or whatever) to the line-in on the radio (maybe). There is a cassette mp3 player on the market currently but it states only mp3 (afaik). <p> -- Roger ----- Verify my pgp/gnupg signature on my HomePage: http://www.alltel.net/~rogerx/about/index.html -------------- next part -------------...

Winamp streaming to icecast2
Hello, I'm trying to set up winamp to stream a live event to an icecast2 server. I've got the icecast2 server set up, and to date have streamed playlists only via ices0 or ices2, now I'm wanting to stream live using winamp. Software wise, I'm needing to use free or open source software, the icecast2 server is a Linux machine, the Winamp will be on either a Win7 or a WinXP
