PW9120 - Shutdown condition?
Hello. I have a PW9120 hooked up via a serial cable running NUT 2.0.4. When running upsc I cant see any parameter that looks like it would trigger a shutdown. Theres is nothing like "battery.charge.low: 30" or "battery.charge.warning: 30". I get: ambient.temperature battery.(charge|runtime|voltage)...

I wanted to suggest some rating for functionality. I got the UPS available that seemed to have the best possible rating from NUT's list (Eaton Powerware UPS 1500), and found out it doesn't support telling me battery level or runtime! :/ Luke

Powerware 9120 serial connection via USB/serial dongle
I decided to try this to see if it worked better since Powerware decided to build in some oddball USB protocol instead of using a HID UPS profile, but it doesn't seem to work. The USB/serial dongle is recognized by Linux and added as /dev/ttyUSB0, owned by group "dialout", so I had to add the nut user to the dialout group. In the compatibility list, the proper driver for the

If I restart the driver, the communication is regained for a few minutes but then drops again. Below are excerpts from running '/lib/nut/bcmxcp -DDD -a pw9120'. Any ideas? bcmxcp patch
Hi Michael, I've forwarded your patch to Kjell, who's maintaining the bcmxcp driver, and to the nut development list. Kjell and others have more knowledges of the xcp protocol and will be able to analyze your patch. 2008/1/4, michalwd1979 <michalwd1979 at o2.pl>: > Hello Arnaud, > I am sending You a small patch to bcmxcp.c and bcmxcp.h files from nut-2.2.0.
