I search Google to find how to get the message light to flash on my Cisco 7960 running (Application Load ID POS3-06-3-00) (Boot Load ID PC03M030) (DSP Load ID PS03AT38) All I see is about the sip.conf file witch mine has the mailbox=XXXX but still no light. If I want to upload SIP configurations via *.cnf file from my tftp server, do I need to include the OS79XX.TXT and P0S3-06-X-XX.bin to the tftp server root directory to be uploaded every time the phone reboots? Hello, I'm using two Cisco 7960 phones currently loaded and showing Firmware POS3-07-4-0 (Version 7.4?) and I'm having a strange problem. Whenever the phone is supposed to try to load anything over HTTP from my Apache 2.2.x web server, the connection just sits and times out. Nothing shows up in the Apache logs unless I hit cancel. ...light is a logical OR of all the defined lines. Is there a way to tell the phone NOT to display the MWI for certain lines but retain the envelope for all? If you get enough VM on busy lines then the light tends to lose meaning and you may as well have it on all the time! I'm currently on POS3-06-3-00 dbc.
