Remote SIP Connections
...ello all, I have my * server setup behind a Linksys WRT54G on
Adelphia cable. I have forwarded 5060,10000-10020, and another port
set can't remember off the top of my head but I can't seem to connect
to the * server from any locations that are direct connects to the
Internet. Am I missing a portset for forwarding?
If I use the name service (voip.*****.com) from my home connection on
the same LAN as the * server it will connect fine.
Any ideas?
TIA!

Problems with print driver information stored in ntprinters.tdb
...etc. When using Windows as a print server the Canon
Net Assistant service appears to receive this information and forward it
to the printer. Canon of course does not provide the equivalent for
Linux. Canon therefore provides a workaround application that can be run
on the Windows client called 'PortSet'. This application allows you to
bind IP addresses with specific printers so that the driver can
communicate directly with the printer for the device status. PortSet
unfortunately does not work at all if the printer's been installed with
the server side drivers.
Thanks guys

hey Andres
Thanks for the reply , I was looking around on the interwebs and i found
nothing then else then "subscription" based services like *ejamming.com* ,its
expensive and difficult to handle , a musican friend did not get it to
work (Portsettings and mapping no UPnP ).
Imagine one lead vocal track could triggers several sound sources around
the world , you think the *latency* from midi would be a problem for drums
for example ?
Thanks?

Icecast2 Beta 1 hijacks CPU
...home/user/Appz/faziel/etc/icecast.xml
&
Kept the .xml pretty standard. Only changed:
- <source-password>
- <admin-password>
- <hostname> (changed that to fixed external IP)
- <mount-name>
- <fallback-mount>
- <loglevel> (changed to 1->error)
I left the portsettings unchanged (8000).
On my MS box I fired up Winamp and its Oddcast plugin. Plugin always
connects just fine and instantly.
Now users could connect using:

or through a Java appet:

/* Check for midi header in logical stream */
Hello List,
as an long time macintosh user , musican/producer/programmer , i am very
upset that another great technology (DSS ) vanished because of http
streaming so i turned my interest towards icecast, whitch seems an
fantastic and evolved media streaming server.
I am very interested in Midi, especialy the possibility to *sync Audio with
Midi*.
So my question , would it be possible to stream a
